THEY CANCELLED SHADOW AND BONE!!!!! I AM FUCKING FOAMING AT THE MOUTH WITH RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'll never get the six of crows plot which what everyone was most excited to see!!!!! They were going to make so much money literally what the fuck is wrong with those execs???? We could have got our crow content, they could have made millions like?!?!? (I know that's all they care about) I would kill to see that wonderful cast performing the ice court heist I would sell my soul to finally see the crows all together my disappointment is immeasurable I'm sobbing

i miss my aunt but, im gradually getting my dad back in doctor who.

i realized in a span of a few seconds while petting one of our dogs why i only talked about and watched doctor who with my dad and my late aunt in terms of the plotlines that lean into gender identity and not the two other ppl we reside with (who also like doctor who but clearly have opposing viewpoints than me and my dad) that make miss my late aunt more.

like as soon as i kept saying 'her' and 'she' and donna's 'daughter' in terms of rose temple noble (literally just correcting them - even made a lil 'donna will descend on yall yall need to stop talking about her bby girl like that' joke to lighten it up a lil) here they go going 'its just my opinion but --' 'i just don't think xyz because if you're x you're x and if you're y you're y you aint 🗣🗣' '🗣oh everyone is so sensitive and clearly they're pande--🗣'

[i zoned out to play with the puppy because i came up there to talk about doctor who and how the whole plot point relies on rose's existence is what saved donna from dying like everyone thought, not you talking about you being a secret not-so-secret in two-seconds-of-conversation closet republican just because you fell out of the show right after the second ep of ninth doctor season or the other one falling out of the show simply mid-miracle day because they canceled bedlam.]'

i then left. after playing with the puppy and got hit with thinking of my aunt, i just stopped talking once they got defensive and watched at how they reacted and look like. and i left.

im not explaining (or fall inside an failed instigated argument that deviated from the doctor who ep topic from ppl who vocally are louder than someone they know is soft spoken (the loudest i go is normal volume for them) in circles something that was already explaining it rather repetitively at 80 to 100 volume with english subtitles to them.

i broke it down with my dad - the way i began with them before they shot down any further convo into it and started going into their rhetoric - and my dad got it immediately and was like 'thats cool and she and her daughter didnt die as collateral yay'

but now where i had an alternative way of talking about a sci fi show with ppl who liked said show or wanted to get back into it, im now down to just my dad who likes action shows but doctor who isnt constant action. lot more sci fi.

(he can watch criminal minds, what we're rewatching now. and shooter. and the blacklist. agents of shield at one point. he cant get into supernatural because they kept resurrecting normal humans with no default immorality. he can watch arrow, the flash (for a bit), forever, hannibal, he watched lucifer with me and torchwood the first two seasons and i watching professor t (the original, not the bbc one. it just doesn't hit like the original did) and briefly with me and my late aunt, killing eve and orphan black. daredevil. punisher. luke cage (i witnessed him binge it thrice via his tablet). he watched iron fist, he rooted for everyone else that can fight except the main)

but yeah i just miss my aunt (i have two aunts but she was the sci fi action one that passed away. the other aunt is into game shows/trivia shows.)
