ok i have some silly and light-hearted ideas for this actually xddd

(also im limiting this to main ocs or ocs i consider to be important or fun enough for the purposes of this)

if not for the way the entirety of the main plot, i think Maffi and Huen might've gotten along. if this was in a vaccuum and not in any particular spot in the story, i think Maffi and Huen (and maybe even Seph who knows) would be in a corner just fucking talking about politics and philosophy and shit.

Ellie and Bitzy would probably be making friendship bracelets, or talking about comics or any sort of pop-culture interests that they share. probably would recommend fanartists and fanfics to each other too. a few people would try to join them, but they either dont understand the popculture of their worlds (which is very similar, if not the same) or dont care enought about it. theyre mostly left to their own devices. overtaken by the 'tism.

Angelica would probably be telling stories of her time as a treasure/artifact hunter and an actual godslayer. if Hinata's there with Bitzy, they would probably catch up and tell the stories together, since Hinata went on a lot of adventures with Angelica when they were younger.

David would be very... put off by Huen's mere presence. even if all of the plot didn't happen and this whole "get-together" wasn't canon, i think Huen's aura would just scare David shitless. you could even say he dislikes her on the basis of bad vibes alone. which is mutual, considering Huen HATES when someone is taller than her, and David's got a solid 10cm on her. yea, he avoids her like the plague and she does not mind (maybe intentionally sends him threatening looks across the room). actually i think almost everyone would avoid Huen to the best of their ability.

maybe Dots would hang out with David a bit? they have a sort of reluctant friendship in the later stages of the story. she feels pity for him, despite his own actions being the main reason why he suffers, so she helps him a bit when no one else is there to put up with him anymore (i might elaborate on that in another post, cuz i think its interesting lol). oh, i like to think she'd share her recipies with him? he can't cook, but he'd like to learn and she has a whole backlog of healthy meals to share :3 also she definitely recommends him some cool self-care products. also i think they share a love of home makeover shows (tho David wouldn't admit it). just wait until Ellie introduces them to the sims.

if TomJulCent are there... i have a headcanon that Thomas and Seph get along really well. in general i think Thomas Julia and Vince would like Sephoras and vice versa. Tom would drag Seph away from the debate going on in the corner and they'd get up to some tomfoolery (more or less legal, depending on the mood) or just talk and joke with each other.

Oh, Vincent would probably have a lot to talk about with Cyan, since they're both musicians! i can imagine them first hitting it off and getting along really well, until one of them says some "controversial" opinion about a certain artist or even a whole genre of music and all hell breaks loose. Julia and James (or Angele) would probably separate them, but it'd be too late and now they're sworn enemies.

speaking of, Julia and Angele would get along. they've both got "i am done with these idiots, but theyre my idiots" as their life motto and i think they would have a lot of fun complaining to each other, considering they would understand what the other has to put up with.

also, since David, Huen, Maffi and Seph all like playing chess, i could imagine them staging a mini tournament. no idea who would win, but it'd be worse than playing uno. Huen would definitely underestimate David, who is REALLY GOOD at chess, and it would piss her off. Seph and Maffi's duel would be the least "aggressive" and all in good fun (they probably play chess together anyway regularly so yk), Seph and David would insult each other (in good fun too, but it'd get brutal at times), Seph and Huen would be filled with easy conversations with an underlying meaning behind every word they say, trying to throw the other off (Huen would outmanipulate Seph pretty soon though, lets be real), Maffi and Huen would be dead quiet, not even a twitch of an eyebrow in sight, stone faced and focused on the game and nothing else, Maffi and David would be tense as fuck, but not in a negative way, since the two of them have played against each other countless of times, so they have a lifetime long score to keep updating.

James and Dots would be checking up on everyone. Lucy would be sitting quietly in a corner with a guitar or a ukulele to provide some ambiance, since she's not much for socializing in big groups. Angelica and David would have an arm wrestling competition at some point (David would call bullshit on some part of Angelica's stories and it'd escalate), which both Maffi and Huen would scoff at (but Maffi would obviously be on her wife's side all the way) while Seph would be ALL IN for this, give him front row seats and some popcorn, he's placing bets as we speak.

if Dominica got involved though.... pure chaos. she would shapeshift into every other fucking person and slowly, overtime make people think they were losing it. hallucinating entire conversations, missing important bits information, learning things that turn out to be untrue, until, eventually, everyone's at each other's throats over something they allegedly said or did. by which point Dominica would sit back and enjoy the view, with only Seph and Huen remaining, as they'd be pretty used to her bullshit and antics by this point and would have refused to fall for them again.

also i always loved the idea of my ocs singing and playing music together. ive had an idea of Lucy teaching Seph the basics of how to play guitar (he's horrible at it). i think Cyan would have the most random assortment or "hey I can play that", and so on. also i made Cyan James and Seph (and Ellie) into a band AU at one point for funsies but thats besides the point lol

also if this happened at ANY point in the story it would be a category five shitstorm, tears shed, feelings hurt, someone would die, the room would be trashed.

Berrie is usually the friend holding the braincell lol they are generally the voice of reason when her friends get too chaotic (unfortunately their threshold for "too chaotic" is skewed, they're all just chaos when they're together, Eobard does not allow them all in the house at the same time)

Harmonic Sine is the mom friend, she is always trying to make sure her friends take care of themselves even if she's not doing so well herself

When Berrie was a baby and a toddler her favorite toy was Eobard's ring, much to his chagrin, so he ended up making her one of her own which they keep on their person at all times to this day

Vice has a bracelet given to them by their boyfriend which he incorporates into every outfit regardless of the style he's going for

Physically, Berrie has Barry's eye color and nose, Eobard's eye and face shape, and a mix of both of their hair colors, skin tones, and mouth shapes. Personality-wise, Berrie has Barry's compassion, geekiness, and selflessness; Eobard's obsession, volatility, and determination; and both of their intelligence.

Agent V-92 and her brother, Angel, are nearly identical in appearance (though not at all in personality)

🍒: Has Your OC had their first kiss yet? If so, with who?

He has! Berrie's first kiss was with a boy on his middle school chess team after losing a game and, consequently, a bet against him. That was how they learned they're not interested in boys lol

Soliton has not had her first kiss yet nor is she particularly interested in that part of a relationship, physicality is not high on her priority list, she'd probably be happiest in a long distance relationship

Lying to Berrie is one of the worst things you can do to them in their mind, if she catches you in a lie it's over, she'll never trust you again

Anything that gets in the way of Aria's goals is basically a death sentence as far as she is concerned, if you do it deliberately you'll be lucky to survive longer than it takes for Aria to find out

🎂: Has your OC have any contradictory interests or traits to the first perception people have of them? How do they surprise people?

Berrie comes across as a ray of sunshine, which she is, but they are also terrifyingly obsessive and possessive - they're good at hiding it but if any of their friends were threatened or simply tried to end their friendship, Berrie would see red and the situation would escalate rapidly

Fire & Ice loves baseball; you'd never guess it looking at her but she follows the KBO League religiously and plays baseball with her younger cousins when her family comes to visit

🍹: Does your OC have any funny anecdotes told about them?

Berrie never technically learned to walk, he went straight from crawling and scooting to running though his powers didn't show up until she was around 3 years old, after which Eobard had to keep a very close eye on her lest she run to the nearest toy or candy store - he did catch her more than once with her little pockets full of sweets

Soliton once met one of her scientist idols in an elevator at a conference and was absolutely giddy when he knew her name - she only realized after they'd parted ways that he knew her name because she was wearing a name tag

🍕: How does an OC spend a lazy day?

Berrie likes to spend lazy days at dog parks, watching people's pets play and doodling or writing in a notebook

The Ace Arrow loves jigsaw puzzles and board games and will usually rope one or more friends (usually their roommate, Harmonic Sine) into joining them

I'm trying to think of where to start lol.

Cain:

as i state in his ref sheet, he's kind of sarcastic and it often leads to him butting heads with Sun/Moon, but he does tend to get along with moon more. even though he is technically a serial killer(LMAO) unlike William afton, he tends to target parents/adults more often while being pretty gentle around kids. he also tends to treat people he finds interesting in a kind of demeaning or often times twisted 'playful' way where he likes to test limits and see how far he can take things enjoying scaring people. He definitely was the cause of several daycare staff quitting lmao.

he also tends to carry a basic knife which was handed down to him by his father, though for the most part he leaves it in the security desk when he's inside the daycare as to not accidentally get a child hurt, not that he hasn't used it as a threat before towards another employee. they literally cant fire him though, at this point he's there til he decides its not fun anymore. He doesn't have the best relationship with his father, his mother disappeared when he was a kid so he never really got to know her well. He gained an interest in robotics at an early age so he tends to mess around with the bots at the pizzaplex on his free time, it was a giving though since he spent most of his childhood visiting freddy's in general so when the pizzaplex opened he was already very interested in robotics and how the new animatronics operated. there's also a more dark side to that what with him finding old notes about remnants etc from his great grand papi William.

he literally has a secret stash of monty mix because its his favorite thing to drink at the pizzaplex so on his lunch breaks during the glitch he would often have to run like his life was on the line as chica chased him down. y aknow, just pizzaplex Shinanigans most of the time.

Honestly he's not as developed as Starbrite, but I find him fun in the context of my own headcannons/storyline I guess.

Starbrite:

A lot of his features were explained in the reference, but he also does have the ability to hook up to the wire system like sun and moon. he tends to go up gracefully with his arms outstretched like he's tightrope walking and do little tricks or shows for the kids when he's up to it or sees the mood has shifted a bit just to let sunny breathe for a moment when the kids get too much or when he's having trouble cleaning up.

he is a little bit sassy when he's on his last nerve, and for the most part, Cain gets on it a lot lmao. but he's very easy to appease by giving him objects like friendship bracelets, drawings, and even snacks!

He can eat/drink, and for the most part, his internal system runs on high sugar concentrated foods/drinks that are then converted into energy/power for him to run instead of needing to charge in a charging station during hours when sun/moon operate. he does however need to charge his backup power bank in a charging station, and that power bank typically is only active when he hasn't consumed enough sugar or is unable to have access to sugar for a few hours. typically at the end of the day all the extra solids from food after extraction of the sugar tend to come out of storage within his stomach area which opens up, they're compressed into small cubes and emptied once a day into a nearby trashcan.

Starbrite tends to get along with sun/moon/eclipse in general, and is programmed to love them unconditionally. a lot of this is due to my headcannon that after the glitch sun/moon developed a phobia of being unlovable and got anxious when thinking of that as well, so they needed someone who would be able to give them that reassurance when they needed it.

his cooling/heating system mainly serves to regulate sun/moons temperature when they do get out of control or get into a depressive state. Sun tends to run hot, almost burning up so starbrite cools him down, while Moon tends to literally go below freezing so starbrite warms him down. it makes for a soothing effect for both of them.

i also tend to headcannon that sun/moon/eclipse all have a coating of silicone on their bodies and are water proof to make it easier to deal with kids in general and make crafting a lot easier to do as well since they would be able to finger paint along with the kids etc so the same goes for starbrite.

His Tail acts as a star shaped nightlight however he has the ability to move his tail like a monkey would if he so chooses, hanging on the playset or monkey bars from it, or sitting mid-air while using it as a kind of balancing chair. makes for a fun trick.

i always will love the theory that sun/moon have bells on their wrists so that blind children can follow the sound. that they have 5 fingers in order to use sign language for deaf/mute children as well. So those are also things starbrite has/ is capable of doing.

he's 4'9" mainly because of my height ( he is low-key a self-insert on a minuscule level), but also I love the idea that originally when prototyping sun/moon Fazbear Entertainment made a much smaller test model which was then put into storage until they needed it for a much newer project.

and okay so my bard! he's really into reading and learning and is VERY curious by nature. he is decently good aligned, though might make some decisions that don't seem good at first. he's also kinda nosy lmao. I'm romancing Gale and at first I thought my bard would be a nice grounding presence for him. But Gale has such big, wistful, magical ideas and a lot of hubris, and he's REALLY good with words, so at some point my bard got fully sucked into the grand ideas. now they're kind of making each other worse haha. also in my head, my bard is like 5'3" (he's also trans because he's just like me fr). but I'm in act 3 now (final act)! so I'm excited to finish my first playthrough hehehe

KHOC Week 2020 Day 2: Bonds of the Heart/Ties That Bind

This @khoc-week prompt has been really fun for me to think about! Echo forges a lot of bonds over the course of her journey, and each one means more to her than anything.

Sora - Her big brother, and her role model. For years if Sora did something she had to do it too, which is how she got the nickname 'Echo' to begin with. She loves him dearly and would do anything to make sure he's safe at the end of the day.

Her Parents, Akio and Orihime - Though they don't get much screentime I've started developing these two as OCs. Their love and guidance gives Echo strength even in the moments when everything seems hopeless. There always seems to be some nugget of wisdom they've given her that she can call upon when she needs it most.

Kairi - Probably her best friend, they've spent a lot of time together over the years watching the boys play out their rivalry and it's lead to them bonding quite a lot. They're crafting buddies too! Kairi taught Echo to make Thalassa charms, and she taught Kairi how to make friendship bracelets.

Tifa - I can't say too much about her bond with Tifa because if I get this story written out like I want that would be really spoilery, but suffice to say Tifa becomes a mentor and confidante to Echo.

Rio - Rio is a shopkeeper that Echo meets and ends up staying with for a bit at the beginning of her journey. She becomes a sort of big sister figure to Echo and is always ready to help if she needs it.

These are just a few of her relationships, but interestingly it's her relationship with Riku that has the most highs and lows throughout the story.

Riku - He and Echo start out on awkward footing. They've grown up together but for a long time they never really made an effort to see each other as more than "Sora's sister" and "Sora's friend". That starts to change a bit with the building of the raft, when Riku really starts to realize how little effort they make to include her, despite how much she throws herself into everything they do. To make up for that he makes her a promise the day they stock the raft with provisions, but as we all know things get a little crazy after that. Throughout the story their relationship grows and changes, and almost breaks apart sometimes, but in the end they're stronger for it.

And as a little bonus for you guys, here's the scene where Riku makes his promise, which was the inspiration for today's illustration! It's in a Google doc because this post is already pretty long, lol.
