I found a new book series a while ago, btw, and I'm planning to be obnoxious about it now that I'm caught up, or at least I will be when I have some actual spare time. Feel free to blacklist 'rivers of london' if you don't care, I'll be tagging all posting after this with that.

#i've ended up really fond of the books they're great #they're really scratching the terry pratchett watch series itch #and the modern crime drama itch at the same time #it's such a fun mix of really detailed police procedural #and slowly-building-in-complexity urban fantasy worldbuilding #and i love both of those things #plus there's a quietly sad ridiculously powerful immortal mentor figure #in the obi-wan-kenobi-but-Doesn't-in-fact-die mould #and that's basically my own personal catnip so i'm having a Great time #good books good time i can Feel myself getting exponentially more autistic about them on the reread #art will Definitely be forthcoming #personal stuff
