I'm so confused by high schoolers wtf. Literally no one is every mean to me but my best friend has people telling them that other people hate them just randomly for no reason?? Makes no since we are basically the same-

#like we both keep to our little group (us. their boyfriend. our freshman. a couple others we talk to casually.)#(to be fair their boyfriend is a bit controversial on his own- he's a 'devil's advocate' a teacher's son- said teacher is an ass- etc.)#we're both not cis (visibly so- them a bit more than me because their parents aren't super transphobic but I'm out at school generally)#(like I run GSA. I'm annoying about it I talk about it all the time. yet they get hated for being non-binary and never saying anything?)#they're smarter and more school focused than I am and therefore in harder classes (and ik the people there are more stuck up) but it's-#-like completely random people who hate on them. like in a different grade we don't even know them.#they're definitely nicer than I am to people and teachers like them more because they talk to teachers better than I do #like they care about how people see them and I do not. I chose like maybe 5-7 people who's image of me I genuinely care about and they-#-choose everyone they've ever come in contact with so I know they are very fucking nice to people #I'm so confused this is so upsetting. if anything I'm the more unlikable idk why is it this way.#vent #not personal though
