Pony gets caught with a girl in his room by the gang

-Of course they get caught because Ponyboy is so flustered he doesn’t even think to lock the door.

-Let’s be honest if he was caught by either Steve or Dally it’s because they knew what was going on and wanted to catch him so they would throw the door open.

-The teasing would be endless and Dally would keep offering to try to get him a room at Bucks.

-Darry would just get home from work and be looking for Ponyboy and would catch you.

-He’d be slightly annoyed but wouldn’t know what to say in that situation.

-After a few seconds of just flustered muttering he would shout with slightly red cheeks. “Just.. Dammit lock the door next time, Pony. And don’t you dare get yourself in any baby mess.”

-Ponyboy would get the talk later though after Darry gathered his thoughts.

-Soda would catch them and shout in surprise but he’d be grinning.

-He’d leave them be and run and find literally anyone to tell this news to.

-Johnny wouldn’t see them in the act because he would never just open a door without knocking.

-But he’d come over to just hang out and here them.

-He’d probably go up to the door to see if what he’s hearing is right and then run out of the house.

-He’d tell Ponyboy that he heard them though because they’ve always been able to talk easily and they’d both apologize.

-Two-Bit would not have to catch them because he’s the one who set them up and is keeping all of the other boys out of the house so they can be alone.

-Ponyboy had actually talked to Two-Bit the most about girl stuff so Two-Bit was totally the one helping him out.

-But if he did happen to catch him he’d say with a laugh to use protection.

Ponyboy meeting his favourite author/movie star along with the gang.

-Ponyboy knew that they were filming a movie in their town but had no idea his favorite movie star was going to be in it.

-He is like in shock he sees the guy but he refuses to go up to him because he doesn’t want to be annoying.

-But he won’t stop starring and talking about it to the gang so eventually they just drag him over to the guy so Ponyboy will shut up.

-The movie star is actually really nice and doesn’t mind when Ponyboy stutters nervously.

-The guy actually thinks they’re pretty cool and asks them to show him around town since he’ll be there for a few weeks filming.

-Ponyboy is just like completely wide eyed the whole time and the other guys keep teasing him for it.

-But he doesn’t even care that he’ll probably be getting teased by them about this for weeks.

-Because when the movie star signs something for Ponyboy it officially becomes the best day of his life.

-He definitely most likely take you to a less well known musical because he figures there’s plenty of time to see the well known ones since they’ll probably be on Broadway for a while.

-He completely surprised you.

-You knew that you two were going to New York City but he convinced you that he couldn’t afford tickets to see anything.

-But that was okay with you you were just happy to be in the city with him.

-So when he surprised you by taking you two the theater you cried.

-He hugged you tightly but smiled proudly that he was able to make you this excited.

-He liked theater but musicals usually weren’t his thing.

-But since he loved you he wanted to go.

-He mostly watched you from the moment you two stepped foot inside and throughout the whole show.

-He noted the little changes that your face made as you enjoyed this experience.

-After the show when you couldn’t stop talking about it he listened carefully to every word.

-He completely loves how passionate you are.

-And you couldn’t stop thanking him for it.

-Dally always tried to include Ponyboy in things.

-And would always invite him to hang out.

-Especially when his brothers weren’t around.

-Dally knew how much is sucked being the youngest in the gang because that’s how it was for him in New York.

-And they treated him badly for it there.

-He never wanted Ponyboy to feel like that.

-Sometimes he felt resentful of Ponyboy because of how the kid complained about Darry.

-Because he knows how much Darry gave up for the kid and while Dally can’t recognize that feeling in himself, he wishes he had someone to love him that much.

-But for the most part he didn’t mind the kid.

-Dally is definitely the reason Ponyboy smokes so much.

-And Dally definitely teaches Ponyboy the best things to say when dirty talking girls.

-Dally will always get girls to come flirt with Ponyboy.

-He’s like obsessed with the fact that they do this.

-He can honestly sit for hours just watching them draw or paint.

-And will often times read to them or tell them a story while they do it.

-They have dates like that a lot.

-Going to new places for them to draw what they see and for Ponyboy to write about it.

-Ponyboy starts hanging the drawings and paintings he was given all over his room.

-They start giving Ponyboy lessons too on painting and such.

-And he always makes paintings and drawings for them.

-And even if though the paintings aren’t the best at first they still hang up every one that Ponyboy gives them.

-Ponyboy also saves up for months to be able to buy them a really nice art set.

-When he walks by and sees you in class.

-And when he passed you in the hall.

-When he passes you he’ll always brush you somehow, with his shoulder or with his hand.

Headcannons: Ponyboy Dating a Soc.

a/n: I wanted to let you guys know to avoid any confusions with some of these headcannons possibly contradicting each other this is what would happen if they still met Cherry that night but nobody from the gang died. And these were more reaction headcannons but if you’d like to see more headcannons about their relationship let me know ☺️

-Ponyboy would be so nervous to ask her out after Cherry ignored him.

-But he just had to.

-He thought she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen.

-She was really sweet too, not like most girls he knew.

-She loved to listen to him talk about the things he couldn’t talk about with anybody else.

-And she never minded being seen with him in public.

-She figured if her friends minded that much about who she loved then they weren’t real friends.

-When the gang finds out they really want to be mad at him.

-But they aren’t surprised to be honest.

-Darry would be really worried about him because of all that happened last time he liked a soc girl.

-But ultimately he would be happy for his kid brother.

-Sodapop would be proud of him for getting a girl which he’d say in front of all their friends.

-And one night while they were laying down for bed he tells Ponyboy that he’s proud for not caring about the status thing.

-Steve would actual admire the fact that Ponyboy got a girl too, especially a soc.

-Both Steve and Dally would be ready to take on anyone that gave Ponyboy trouble.

-Johnny would think it’s really nice that Ponyboy’s found someone that he can relate to more about things like sunsets and stuff.

-Two-Bit would finally take this as the push he needed to ask out Marcia.

-And Marcia would finally be brave enough to say yes.

-Two-Bit and Ponyboy would take their girls on double dates then.

-They would all start to learn that things were rough even on the soc side too.

-And Darry would always let Ponyboy’s girlfriend stay over their house when she couldn’t be home.

-She was a little scared of all of his friends at first.

-But realized they mostly weren’t so bad.

-And it wouldn’t be perfect by any means but slowly some of the soc’s and greasers started not to mind each other so much.

What they smell like:He always smells like cologne. Sometimes he puts it on a little to strong because he can never figure out if it’s on enough or not.

How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc):Ponyboy can only go to bed late at night and no matter what he has to have a foot sticking out of the blankets.

What music they enjoy:I’m not sure for this one 🙈

How much time they spend getting ready every morning:Thirty minutes give or take. The real problem with him is getting him out of bed in the morning but after that it doesn’t take him long.

Their favorite thing to collect:Ponyboy always finds notes that people drop in the hall at school and if he doesn’t know who they belong to he’ll keep them. He knows it’s really weird but he likes seeing his classmates attempts at writing love poems and stuff because it makes him feel like maybe they aren’t all so different.

Left or right-handed:Right handed.

Religion (if any):Gonna change this to ‘religious’ and say that while he isn’t wildly religious he enjoys going to church and learning about religion.

Favorite sport:Track.

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc):Ponyboy just likes to take pictures of literally everything.

Favorite kind of weather:When it’s warm out with a gentle breeze.

A weird/obscure fear they have:Bugs. And this annoys Darry to no end because Ponyboy will literally turn off the shower with shampoo in his hair and make Darry come get rid of it. “It ain’t gonna kill you, Ponyboy, jeez..”

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail:He’s amazing at Ski-Ball.

Do you have a master list?

No 😔 I’ve been wanting to make one but for whatever reason tumblr has like completely stopped working on my MacBook so I do all my posting from mobile and you can’t make master lists on mobile. I tried everything on my laptop like clearing history and clearing cookies but it will just go to the log in screen and when I click log in it won’t do anything no matter how long I let it sit there to load. So if anyone has had this issue and knows how to fix it I would deeply appreciate it buut in the mean time..

Headcanons for Ponyboy dating a girl with anxiety? Same for Sodapop?

I just wanted to say that I don’t have anxiety so if anything here is wrong please let me know so I can fix it! ☺️ And as always enjoy!

Ponyboy:-Ponyboy’s a little clueless to it at first.

-He doesn’t understand why little thinks stress you out so much sometimes.

-But he does know that he wants to make you feel better.

-So he writes you poems a lot.

-Or short stories.

-It’s really calming for you to read them and give him feedback.

-Working on one of his stories with him is always the best way to distract you and calm you down.

-And after a while you explain to him about your anxiety.

-And he feels so bad that he never knew before.

-And he makes sure to do all the research he can on it.

-And to help you in anyway you need.

Sodapop:-Sodapop understands from the beginning what you’re going through.

-He didn’t know it at the time but he has anxiety too.

-He thinks of the little things that make him feel better and he does them for you.

-One day he asks you what it feels like to have anxiety.

-And you explain it to him.

-He realizes that he thinks he has it too and tells you that.

-You feel guilty for not taking care of him when he takes such good care of you.

-He says that it’s fine because making sure you’re okay is what helps him the most.

Can I get a headcannon with Ponyboy's first day at college and him trying to choose a major?

-Ponyboy would be going to school undecided at first because he can’t make up his mind.

-He would have memorized the school map in preparation

-And he would have practiced the best ways to get to his classes.

-Ponyboy is very diligent from day one because he knows he’s lucky to be attending.

-He’ll have a notebook and pens ready on the first day.

-He would also stop by all the club booths set up around campus.

-He would already be in track because that’s where part of his scholarship is from.

-But he would also sign up for a poetry club.

-He would go to the library on his first day to start getting ahead on his assignments.

-There was a group of five sitting there doing the same thing.

-Two guys and three girls.

-They would invite him over.

-He ended up having his next class that day with two of them.

-Later they would all go out to a party to celebrate getting through day one.

-Sometimes it’s intentional but a lot of the times you don’t even realize you’re being flirty until you see him getting all flustered.

-Ponyboy loves Valentine’s Day.

-He gives everyone of his friends a Valentine’s Day present and most pretend to hate it.

-But they all love it.

-For you he’d leave copies of his favorite poems around for you to find leading up to the day.

-And on the actual Valentine’s Day he’d give you one he wrote.

-All his brothers would go out on Valentine’s Day.

-Even Darry would find a date.

-So he’d bring you to your house.

-He had a big sweet tooth so you two would make big ice cream sundaes and eat those.
