Ok, I’m going to just leave this here for pause & reflection. 🤔 I’m feeling feisty! Anyone else? There’s a reason I’ve been known to upset people because I’ve always asked questions or questioned so-called authorities. Yup, in the military they dislike this because they get emotional, then, they take & make it personal because they really had no leg to stand on when they were trying to play a power trip over me! I ticked off a few and not on purpose! That’s when I was naïve in thinking questions were about learning, growing, and effectively communicating — that’s hasn’t changed & more have I! But here’s the kicker in our Cult-ure, You beat a person down enough with bullying or punishment for asking questions and eventually they will develop a trauma around it and just comply and go along with what they’re told to avoid the pain of guilt, shame, & blame. That’s how psychological warfare and mind games work! I’ve witnessed and experienced enough of it to spot it — I have also done my own work & recognized when I’ve done it because someone did it to me and that’s how I learned! Bullies don’t just become bullies. They had to be bullied. Just like narcissists, codependency, abuse, alcoholism, etc... it’s all taught by witnessing and participating. Addiction is about numbing the pain! So consider that there are all these “assumed rules” we’ve adopted in humanity because of our experiences and how they’ve become one of our driving forces to keep each other “in check” as a power play and there in lies the Addiction to Oppression! It’s just like the story of the crabs in a boiling pot where if one tries to escape the rest will pull it back down with them. They don’t work together to get out when they just as easily could. It’s pretty sad that humans actually do this same thing. Have we become so miserable & desensitized to life that we would rather spread more pain than love!? I remember a good advice a couple of years back and it says, "it's better to be unhappily single than unhappily married". But I guess for those who are unhappily married, it will be unhappier if you don't have a child. You won't realize how you'll be at your happiest stage when you already have one. And even if you're content with just being happily single or married even without a child/children, you don't know what you're missing.
