The story line that Rafal influenced good is kinda odd, I liked the book line better cause it kinda makes more sense idk? Like, the storian is an entity that’s I guess thousands of years old and it made the brothers immortal in the first place and gave them their powers so how is Rafal able to influence it if it’s power is so big. It made more sense that he thought he’d be able to rule over it but can’t and good wins because of true love

They Put aspekts of the third book in there (Never after)

So my final opinion:

Pretty good movie, not too book accurate, casting was overall fitting. I did miss some stuff like the Circus of Talents or the Trial by Tale being an anual thing between students but I understand that it’s not easy to back everything included in a book into a movie. I wish they would’ve included the whole Sader part but again, probably time issues. The movie did feel kinda rushed but again book into movie is hard. But overall I really liked the movie especially because so many things were close to how I imagined them while reading

But obviously the books are always better

THE SCENE WHERE THE NEVERS ARE HAVING THEIR NO BALL AND THE EVERS ARE ABOUT TO CHARGE AND ATTACK TO KILL SOPHIE AND AGATHA GOT LOCKED UP AND SO SHE CLIMBS OUT (thanks to sophie) AND TRIES TO WARN THE NEVERS OF THE EVERS BUT SOPHIE USES IT PERFECTLY IN HER PLAN AND MAKES IT SEEM LIKE AGATHA DEFECTED AND IS NOW ON THE NEVERS' SIDE AND BETRAYED HER PRINCE AND WHEN THE EVERS ARRIVE AND SOPHIE IS TEASING (in a bad way) TEDROS SAYING THAT SHE WANTED TO DANCE W AGATHA AND BLAH BLAH BLAH AND TEDROS HAS AN ARROW NOCKED AND IS ABOUT TO FIRE BC HE FELT SO BETRAYED AND THOUGHT HE WAS FINALLY BETTER THAN HIS FATHER ONLY TO BE PROVEN WRONG AND THEN WHEN HE FIRES IT, SOPHIE TURNS IT INTO A DAISY(??) AND SAYS "learned that from my favorite princess" and "never could learn the difference between good and evil" and tedros just realizes right then and there that he made like the biggest mistake of his life and KSDJFOWKEJLKSDJF THAT SCENE JUST UGH THE PAIN AND THE SUSPENSE AND THE TENSION I LOVED IT

oml that scene — yea i can’t really remember the whole scene clearly but yes yes there’s vague memory about that in my head. it really is pretty intense but also enchanting at the same time. got me wondering whether sophie is a good or bad person exactly. and whether agatha would really fell in love with tedros — aye that’s it, it got my heart racing fast and have me wanting to read more and more asap <3
