Everything had been great lately, actually it's been more then great. You were happy and in love, and you felt content with how your life has turned out.

Everything was calm and just as it should be, but you always have to overthink things, why do you do this to yourself? You see how happy you are and your mind just HAS to knock you off your pedistail, take your perfect life and infect it with doubts that fester and spread like a plague.

Your thoughts became erratic, do I deserve to be happy? Does he even love me? How can he love someone who looks and acts like me? The more you thought about yourself the bigger your insecurities grew and a sadness fell heavy on your chest. There was a painful darkness that filled your head, fluded your veins, invasing your heart.

You stood home today, laying in your bed wrapped in a thick soft blanket. It was silent. The only noise came from the small fan that sat on your dresser pointing straight towards you. You laid with your eyes closed, resting but not asleep.

It's been all day and you hardly moved an inch and when you did it was to use the bathroom and crawl right back into your makeshift cocoon. You've been sad ALL DAY and nothing helped, you just gave up and decided to waste away in your bed forever wrapped up tight. But unfortunately those plans were short lived when your husband can home from work.

"You're still in bed? You're in the same spot I left you, have you even moved? Did you eat at all today?" He bombarded you with questions, worry hanging off of every word but they were questions that you had no interest in answering, instead you clenched your jaw tight and flipped over to your other side to face the wall.

Buckys brows scrunched together in confusion and concern. He brought one of his knees to the bed scooping you up with his arms, he flipped you over while he sat on the bed and laid your head on his lap.

He noticed right away that your eyes were red and puffy and tears were still swelling. Bucky rubbed your head trying to sooth you but he knew your emotions had gotten the best of you, he saw the signs written on your face clear as day.

You laid on his lap for a while in silence when he realized you must be starving. Bucky figured when you were ready you'd tell him what was wrong but for now he was going to take care of you as best as he can.

He stood from the bed picking you up bridal style and placed you on the couch while he cooked. He wasn't the best cook but he'd stop the world just to see you smile. After dinner he put on your favorite movie, and made you some brownies

He held you close on the couch cuddled you the whole time. Rubbing tiny circles on your skin while you nuzzled into him. Soon after the movie he noticed how late it was getting so he decided to run a warm bubble bath for you, lit some candles, played some music and picked out your most comfy pjs.

Soon after the bath you told him how you felt while laying on his chest and he quickly reassured you that you were the most perfect person he has ever met and that he will always love you unconditionally.
