personal favorite design choice of my main type of ai is that you can crack them open like an egg
#this is about the mind cores in voltstrider#initially its what EON was going to be like in modular frame but since i decided not to go as much into the details of it#in that story i thought it would be fun to expand on in voltstriders thats all about alien robots & how they work#where you have hard minds (big servers) and soft minds (ball full of goo)#depending on how motivated i am for it i may or may not elaborate on the ai & machines in vs soon we'll see#venspeaks
