what's so funny about julian's students in the secret history is despite studying something they are partially obsessed with (classics), for the most part they are actually like any of the college students who are so bad at their classes, at showing up, doing assignments, etc. like you would think they're weird in a studious genius nose-in-the-books kind of way but they are weird in a "i've elected murder as my pasttime" kind of way
