This is probably a silly question, yet I always wonder about the mechanic of the Wan Ji world, like, why is she walking through the town in her half animal form and not get ppl's attention? It's normal in this world that beings like her simply exist in the town? I know it's the world where Pigsy owns the restaurant we are talking about, but I see a little difference between being a humanoid animal whole the time and being able to change their entire form

I don't find it weird, I'm just curious

i don't remember if I've drawn her in her half-form in any public settings. (I usually try my best to keep that version of her out of any images where she's out and about among people.) It's usually only around other demons or if she's freaking out/can't control where they appear. I think I've managed to keep the ears and tails hidden in public locations? The only exception is on the bridge in CH 6 and when she first got her tail in CH 2, but even then, she's alone, indoors, or with a demon. (Or like...hiding away somewhere like when Mac was taking her back to the Dojo near the end of CH 2) I'm sure if people saw her like that, they might assume that the tail and ears are like...accessories (since I know cosplay has to be a thing with all the monkey king merch), but she does do her best to avoid being seen in public that way.
