chibi-yuukumo, my lil spider girl! dies when she receives her fated bite due to allergic reaction but due to a combo wombo of the spider being a genetic pet experiment of a symbiote geneticist & pure dumb luck, she comes back to life with a full body metamorphosis; hair turns white, eyes get a yellow tint, body can regenerate from superficial wounds quickly. oh and she has a bite force of 3,700 PSI which can and is used in her new, mostly carnivore diet. i wanted to give her a bit more likeness to jumping spiders! specifically the Evarcha culicivora species! has organic webbing that isn't that strong under great weight but she relies more on speed and takedown thru more traditional animal kingdom methods (bite bite bite bite). her world, Earth-96, centers her in synthwave late 80's tokyo. there is another spider in the west stationed in america that she doesn't know about (Earth-96 Peter Parker) but they don't meet until well into their respective careers as arachnid vigilantes.
