i am very much enjoying this book but the amount of catty comments i've written in the margins when various writers are rude about fems lol
#i know it was a different time. i still physically wince!!#for every less than charitable comment about effeminacy i will simply have to dream up some kind of devious leatherfem scenario lol#the like. new age white gay 'let's grab poorly understood shadows of indigenous concepts & run with them thing' sucks too man.#but from only dipping my toe into 90s gay lit that seems to be par for the course. keeps me an engaged & critical reader at least.#this is unrebloggable in case ppl come from my transcription posts & want to like start a fight or something.#consider this gossiping with the girls!! the girls being my belovéd mutuals.#robin book club#dial p for post
