Ukrainian women insulted and attacked

No. 0110 Yesterday afternoon, so far unknown perpetrators insulted and attacked two Ukrainian women in Mitte. According to previous investigations and witness statements, the two women, aged 24 and 25, were traveling on subway line 8 in the direction of Hermannstraße at around 2:30 pm. There were also three men in the carriage who were talking to each other in Russian. When the men became aware of the two women, they repeatedly insulted them with Russian swear words. At the Alexanderplatz subway station, the two women left the train, with the group of men following them. One of the trio now grabbed the 24-year-old's hair and hit her on the head. A witness noticed the attack and asked the alleged thug and his companion to stop. The trio eventually fled in an unknown direction. The 24-year-old noticed pain in her head, but refrained from seeking medical treatment. The investigation on suspicion of insult and bodily injury is being conducted by the Police State Protection Service at the State Criminal Police Office.
