listen I bet bismuth pearl and garnet were SO close during the gem war i simply cannot stop thinking about their potential interactions
#their casual easy banter when bismuth returned you can’t tell me they hadn’t done this so many times before#to fall so easily back into it#bis would do so much with satirical traditional gem roles#during sparring matches like ‘careful garnet there’s two of you against one little pearl?’#and pearl is like ‘I’ll show you how dangerous ‘a little pearl’ can be!!’#and bis laughs and cheers for the renegade and when garnet loses she says ‘well G that proves you’re made for love not battle’#and garnet punches her on the arm with her gauntlet and they all laugh#just the silly sending up of gem roles!! having fun and making the point that they can all choose to do what they want#I can’t stop thinking about it I’m going feral#I just want good things for bismuth tbh#and who wouldn’t??#this is why I love bispearl like I bet bismuth never went easy on her#other gems would even if they hear about the renegade pearl they can’t help but go easier in training at first#but bismuth? she hears of the renegade pearl and she’s smitten#there’s no way she’s treating this brilliant amazing fighter like she’s fragile she’s going all out so pearl can do the same for her#god I’m obsessed with them
