thinking bout how in theo’s original verse, he technically has a younger sister. while the librarian’s role is to safekeep the knowledge, they also have a double role (albeit hidden role) where their soul is used to aid in the experimentation of artificial lifeforms bc the higher ups main goal is to create a human form of yggdrasil — bc humans cant develop the wither illness that yggdrasil is experiencing rn which can irreparably damage the tree and knowledge within. who better to use at their disposal than the librarian himself? so in turn, an artificial “human” was successfully manufactured but theo has no idea that this is happening and they only end up meeting in the final arcs bc his sister was broken free thanks to the serpent who caused the wither in the first place. she ended up losing her memories and what shes supposed to be bc she was broken out prematurely but ever since she left out into the human world, theo’s felt a connection missing and he can only finally meet her once hes freed from his own shackles 😭😭
