there is something extremely bizarre to me about how some people on here/twitter will like. performatively “stan” ellen for like feminism brownie points or something but then go on to bash her children. if you’re genuinely an ellen fan you 1) probably wouldn’t be constantly insulting her children who she loves and RAISED and are basically her mini mes 2) would actually know shit about her career beyond her wikipedia page. not to be all “name 5 albums” but like i have trouble believing you have watched extensive ellen weinberg hockey tape considering it doesn’t exist on the internet. it’s totally fine and wonderful to think she is an impressive woman who accomplished a lot especially considering her generation, AND understand that her impressive talents include coaching especially her 3 most beloved elite pupils! if you want to support women’s hockey im sure ellen herself would tell you to watch the pwhl and college women’s hockey and support team usa. woso too. but the weird fake “omg ellen is a queen but her kid(s) SUCK” is so odd and i promise you she would not be flattered by you complimenting her and insulting her children in the same breath. same thing goes for quinn fans who hate jack or luke fans who hate quinn etc etc. THESE PEOPLE LOVE EACH OTHER. A FUCKING LOT. THEY WOULD BE OFFENDED BY YOU INSULTING THEIR FAMILY TO PRAISE THEM.
