His wife was killed partly because of his own choices and partly because of a war with Xadia that had gone on for centuries. He had to raise his sons alone. He gave into his hate and anger and took the life of Thuder, King of the Dragons, Avizandum, Murder of his Wife, Zym's Dad. With only hours before his death, he finally realized his many mistakes. He knew that he would become another casualty of hate and history, but in one act of hope and love and desperation he wrote a letter to his son detailing all he learned. He may have been doomed by the narrative but he wanted to have faith that his sons wouldn't be. He wanted to have faith in a narrative of love. He then died. His sons weren't able to attend his funeral. His best friend went on to try and murder his beloved sons and further a narrative of power. Do you GET IT do you UNDERSTAND
