obviously I’ve been thinking about Catharsis ever since you published and feel free to disregard any of these if you don’t feel like answering them, I just let my brain run wild with questions 😭

1) I know you said Satoru has resorted to paying for uhh release which I’m interpreting as him hiring sex workers for his own needs because he can’t emotionally/physically involve himself with another woman and he can detach himself through that ig. (Pls correct me if i’m wrong though LOL) Has Y/N started seeing anyone in the past three years? Given her last thoughts before she sees Satoru I assume no since she’s letting fate take the wheel in their story but idk Y/N is a baddie so 😭

2) What are Y/N’s thoughts about Satoru after everything that happened? Is she angry at him? Disappointed? Does she miss him? Still love him?

3) Was Satoru searching for her specifically in the town they ran into each other? Or did they happen to just run into each other? I know he has and never would’ve stopped searching for his family but why was he there?

4) Will Y/N’s mom finally beat the shit out of him when he sees them again? That poor woman is probably TIRED OF HIS ASS 😭 I hope she slaps him so hard his mother feels it in her prison cell (i don’t condone violence 😌)

5) Is there a reason she hasn’t trusted Toji with any information? If there was someone she could trust with her and Yui’s safety surely it would be Toji. Maybe she just wasn’t thinking straight and fled before Satoru’s mom could do anything else

1. some tried courting yn but she's focused on working for Yui. and when she gets offered that they'll provide for them, she said she just wants to build herself. in reality, she just doesn't want to try at all. she's starting to feel a little hopeless abt it, esp. w how her mother raised her alone. she felt like no one would fully understand her. maybe when yui reaches legal age, but as long as she's under her care, she just can't afford to have someone who would demand as much attention as she Yui.

2. she's frustrated w him, but she tries to understand that he wasn't even there when it happened. to her, he's simply a son who desperately wanted to believe that his mother could get better after what she did to him. and yeah she's disappointed that he took so long to find them LMAO but she knows that it's bc they actually hid from everyone😭. she left no traces and made it almost impossible for him to find them easily. she definitely missed him🥺

3. he was just there bc he's stopping over :>

4. yn's mother has been wanting to pull all the hair out of satoru's scalp since the day she found out abt the kitchen fight LMAO she's a calm woman but satoru's got a talent for making her blood boil.

5. she fled out of fear, really. but she called toji after like a year. she knows he would've wanted to visit her there, and she just can't risk him being followed, so she told him when she thought things are finally calm. satoru's mother traumatized her and even yui.

carinaaa the new chapter omg 😭😭 i stayed up just to read it and you keep outdoing yourself each time!!! petition for reader to “dispose of” mori and run the pm herself 😊 readers backstory hit extra hard because i can really relate to still remaining with people who caused me harm because i thought that i owed them or had to please them but have now made a lot of progress into a healthier mindset and am rooting for reader to be able to do that herself. i truly love this whole series, pm setting is the most interesting imo and you’ve executed it beautifully! the way everything progressed with them felt very natural and it was really enjoyable to read. loved the little tidbits of lore you dropped on their past shenanigans as well. possessive characters are my favorite and i loved the portrayal of it with dazai in this fic!! on that topic, i wonder how chuuya feels about all this and how it looks from his pov if he’s really been going around with unrequited feelings for years, that brings a whole new angle of angst into the story 😭 anyways my thoughts aren’t coherent rn but i just wanted to leave a comment to express how much i love your writing and this series 🫶🏻

IM GLAD YOU ENJOY THE SETTING, i’m having so much fun going back and forth between fics set in the present canon verse & back to pre defection, ive left so many little tidbits in them that we’re gonna see full fics about in the future and it makes me giggle and YESSSS we love possessive characters in this house - dazai is SO ridiculously possessive over her too, was before he defected, is even more now after 💀

chuuya and reader have a rlly complex relationship actually. fun fact: they were each other’s first kiss & first time, but it was not like … romantic in anyway. i suppose ill touch on it now because my next pm reader fic is gonna get deep into it, but as we’ve seen implied in canon w kyouka and dazai, it’s pretty clear that the younger members of the pm are taught to use their bodies as means to an end for strategic purposes. pmreader was mentored by the woman that mentored kouyou for 2 years & chuuya was obviously mentored by kouyou, so kouyou figured reader’s mentor trained her in the same way kouyou was trained (she was) and directed chuuya & reader to each other, advising them to learn with each other before bringing anything to the field, so they did. THIS is when chuuya started developing a crush on her but it faded after a few months, despite what dazai thinks, but obviously reader & chuuya both care very deeply for each other.

so first off, the first few works i read of yours, i actually didn’t realize they were all written by the same author (aka youuu) :o surprisingly, i don’t think it’s actually the “in which” series that prompted me to check your masterlist of works, but your piece winter rush! you actually inspired me to download cats & soup and i still have the game on my phone to this day 🤭 (even tho i have a hard time committing to it these days)

as for your “in which” series, these are some of your works that stood out to me most vividly before i took the chance to read the entirety of the “in which” series!

in no particular order:

in which jungkook won’t tell you what’s wrong and you get emotional motion sickness - this one just really hit home for me in the way i deal with conflict and arguments, and how i tend to get quiet when i’m really upset and i always try my hardest to cry silently

in which jungkook comes home drunk but bam can’t speak - this one always makes me giggle! it’s just so domestic but truly so jungkook-coded, ya know? and i always love imagining owning a pet w/ a partner, it’s just peak domesticity for me

in which your period cramps bring you to tears but jungkook’s gentle hand is warm - as a girly who always needs attention (but even more so on her period) just reading about oc waking up and having jungkook tend to her as soon as he senses something wrong just makes me feel so warm, safe & loved 😭 and imagining his big, warm hands giving oc a much needed massage (i aspire to have this love one day 🥺)

and lastly, in which jungkook wants you all for himself and you buy him flowers - just something about buying jungkook flowers and him being like “for me??” and it just makes me hope that whoever he ends up with buys him flowers regularly :((( & ofc i’m always weak for a bam appearance!!
