alright time to put on percy jackson movie 2. i remember before the movie came out i was in the TRENCHES defending this movie on imdb dot com because i saw how campy the trailers were and how much it tried to match the tone and plot of the books and i didn't want the filmmakers to feel discouraged from making the rest of the movies! i thought if they kept up this trajectory, they'd eventually get it right!

unfortunately the plot still sucked so there was no saving it anyway

#uhhhh me #though i do remember when they casted paloma as thalia i was soooo excited because vancouver represent #they overcorrected the plot so much it backfired #also they released so many sneak peek movie clips that they basically showed the whole movie BEFORE it was released #i was there i saw all of it #anyway i think this movie introduced me to nathan fillion which prompted me and my sister to watch Castle #which THEN prompted us to watch Firefly #so. i guess i can thank the percy jackson movies for that
