went snowboarding at Thredbo last september and took some time on a very clear day to trek across to Mt Kosciuszko 

also be careful on late season snow especially around rocks where pits under the snow can easily form

found this big guy minding his own business while i was up at Thredbo. if he hadn't been on the snow while i was passing there would have been no way i spotted him. very good camouflage he looks just like a rock on passing, my dad was ahead of me and passed about a meter away from him and he had no clue this guy was there
