Eksperimentong kups: My Baileys Cupcake #thyckhangskitch Need to bake this again so i can share the whole recipe with you. Not sure if it's just a pure luck because this is the best(est) cupcake i ever made! I'm not a fan of moist cakes that's why i often use butter than oil. Loving the crumbly but not dry texture and even without frosting the sponge cake alone is soooo delish Everything has a slash of Baileys Irish Cream. From the cake batter, cake wash and frosting Hint in proportion: 3 whole eggs, 225g of flour only. No milk. 200g of butter (a whole block) and 1 bar of dark chocolate If you happen to see this @cachetchocolate brand, don't hesitate to buy! They have a nice selection of dark chocolates and organic ones and they're totally rad! I recently hoarded blackberry & ginger and lemon & pepper flavours. Experiementong kups: proud to say I can finally bake this basic dessert without measuring cups and tried to improve akin to my liking uhmm I used a quarter of white sugar and mostly granulated brown sugar. Then half of almond flour and of cake flour. I even bake this a bit longer than the usual. Aaand it came out very good. It's not greasy. It's very crumbly but chewy. So glad i found some less expensive matcha powder bec I'm craving for SB's Matcha Latte but i couldn't have it rn so i made Matcha Cupcakes instead #ThyckhangsKitch It's very matcha-rap(sic-masarap means delicious in Filipino) HAHAHA but i find it overwhelming because i don't really consume caffeine this much It has matcha powder all the way from spongecake, frosting and sprinkles Be careful bec it has STRONG flavour (⚠ VERY HIGH CAFFEINE CONTENT!) and couldn't get any BITTER if you put more. I have to taste it every time just to have a decent amount and also i had to use food dye to achieve the colour for my frosting. Matcha powder is soo complicated to use. My version of Chicken Karahi (Kadai) with papads or papadums Made a Pakistani version of curry, and this is different from the usual Indian curry. And they usually use lamb or mutton (which is the best) but decided to use chicken. One of my favourite food but with lamb chops It's a SUPER spicy version, no yogurt marinade(i forgot!), NO CORIANDER (Ikr - i just hate it) and the secret to make it so legit is the ginger-garlic paste (homemade) and don't forget the garam masala I just use the greek yogurt with fresh chopped dill as a condiment that goes with rice of course lol #thyckhangskitch #chickenkarahi #kadai #karahi #papadums #papad #poppadoms #subcontinent

They say sardines is a poorman's food. How about no it's not My "Le Sosyal Sardinas" #ThyckhangsKitch Uhmm (In Kris Aquino's voice) So i cooked sardines in a manner that it will look pang mayaman. Konting herbs, spices and fresh piccadilly tomatoes lang as long as you retain the Ligo's trademark sauce, it doesn't look pang mahirap na! O diba nakakaloka! I used breadcrumbs as extenders kasi like burgers ng mga local burger stores they use breadcrumbs as extenders to their patties so it's madaya. So i make daya too to make it a bit, just slightly bigger. I'm sure you'll never cook sardines the same way as before again Charouge! Haha If @ligosardinesph will send me more sardines here in Poland that would be great. Chicken legs filet with chanterelle mushrooms and Martini white wine Finally got to eat a decent meal in our humble abode #ThyckhangsKitch So proud with the hubs eating this with much gusto even it has GARLIC IN IT You can cook this in vegetarian and vegan way too iℹi -Chicken legs filet or any part of the chicken (for vegans/vegetarians, you can use tofu instead), fry till slightly brown then set aside -Dry white wine (deglaze in a pan with vegetable oil) -Chanterelle mushrooms (or any of your choice) -Garlic -12% cream (for vegans, you can use almond milk/soya milk or coconut milk) Simmer then tranfer to baking dish, add thyme and lemon slices before putting it in a preheated oven at 230°C. Now this is lunch!! Standard Filipino lunch, Sinigang sa Lemon - sour soup and melon juice 🍈 (I've been making this juice every other day bec my cute rat likes it too and its refreshing) too bad there's no greenery to add to the soup but the sourness is still on point I super mega hyper hate sinigang na baboy 😫😖😨but i super love fish(esp the head cut) or any seafood sinigang😍. Aaand putting lemon 🍋(squeezed with scooped tiny pulps) instead of tamarind is the best way! Not that I've got no choice lulz but the sourness is soooo much better. With lots as in LOTS of tomatoes and scallions (instead of onions) plus sea salt and not fish sauce so it's not ma-kyoho haha.
