Before the procedure, I was injected with a radioactive chemical so I am advised TO STAY 1 METER AWAY from minors and pregnant women for 2 DAYS because I have radiation in my body that can harm them. Good thing it’s fine I can stay near Prince at home 🐶 After the injection, the Thyroid Scan took around 1hr. Then I took the radioactive iodine. I will need to wait 2 hours here in the Waiting Room before the Thyroid Uptake.
