pfffhahaha, yeah that sounds about right. kids are... pretty silly like that. i don't want to say stupid, because they just don't have the frame of reference that you are i do but... they're something else.

i'm sure my brother and i got up to similar things. we loved to prank our caretaker all the time too, make it even worse on her. i'm sure we were the source of so many headaches.

you could say that. i don't think it was any more than the usual trouble kids cause, at least.

in any case, i don't mean to say that it isn't beautiful. i think it just looks different. and in the same vein, the things we might view as plain might look beautiful and colorful to them. there's a uniqueness and beauty that comes with every perspective, is all i'm getting at.

it's been years? that must be hard. you sound like the kind of person who deserves to be able to spread her wings and enjoy herself. especially with how you talk about sunsets.

but, thanks for telling me that! about the sunsets, i mean. it's been awhile since someone taught me something new. guess it gives me something to appreciate tonight!

Aw, thanks! I was trying to remember what a good sunset looked like, but it’s been so many years, my memory’s a bit fuzzy. Trying to eyeball it from pictures is tougher than it looks. I always thought it was neat how they looked more red cause blue travels at shorter, smaller waves.

But at sunset, light has further to travel through the atmosphere. Shorter wavelengths, blue light is scattered further, sunlight passes over a greater distance, making more wavelengths of yellow and red light. Not too bad to look at, either!

i'm glad you shared. really. i probably should know that but... i was bad at listening to my teacher when i was younger. she never got tired of me, though.

i guess that just goes to show why humanity is a beautiful thing, right? there are certain experiences that only they - we, i mean - can have. things that would only be beautiful through those eyes alone.

Maybe not! But, I think people put pretty curtains on their windows for more than just cause they keep the sun out. I don’t really have an eye for color, though. Everything might as well be more orangeish than it is blueish.
