I guess I should introduce myself. I go by a lot of internet handles, but the main ones I use/respond to are: Fira; Topaz; Firebird; Firebird24811; Eva; SudburyGeek; and TinyGeek, plus maybe some others. Maybe eventually I’ll have a handle based off of my current username. 

I���m nineteen years old, though I’ll be turning twenty in two months which is weird. I didn’t vote in the last election, because I’m about a week or two after the date, which means that I get to pretend I didn’t help contribute to our current political climate!

My gender identity is a bucket of worms that I dive into every once in a while and never get a satisfactory answer so I generally stick to cis female, with a sliding-scale gender expression that normally sticks to the masculine or androgynous areas with random skipping to the feminine parts, which means I keep my hair short and am happy with it ninety percent of the time and stressed the other fifteen (that math makes sense shut up). I enjoy the idea of dressing in suits and butch type outfits, and prefer to be read as male by strangers, though I also equally find dresses interesting. Really most of the time I avoid thinking too much about my clothes and just wear what’s comfortable. I’ve never been taught how to sit in a knee length/shorter skirt, and therefore am not comfortable in them, ergo I appreciate the aesthetic and am intimidated by them. I am almost certainly bisexual, though. 

I’m Jewish through my mom, but my education is largely suffering through one year of sunday school which I hated for mainly non-religious reasons and probably some stuff when I was little, so I mostly express it through bad Jewish jokes. (I had a best friend who is jewish and I would pretend to be his mother and tell him to study or marry a doctor/lawyer/rabbi.) Actually, scratch that, most of my religious learning has been that holidays are an excuse to be social and eat, and while eating is fine, as someone with Aspergers and ADHD and anxiety, I find social stuff stressful and therefore have grown to hate most religious stuff through context. I suspect that when I move out, I’ll either become fiercely religious but antisocial, or ignore it altogether. 

I went to a mixed-age, mixed democratic and small education type school for some of my school years, a very sudbury school for a couple more years (look it up or just follow me to learn more about sudbury), and homeschooled the first several of my school age years, and while I will shitpost the first school a fuckton and shitpost types of homeschooling I despise, I support the unschooling movement, mainly in favor of self-education.

I write, craft, sew, knit, spin yarn, needle felt, paint, sculpt, embroider, cross-stitch, weave, draw, and a lot of other stuff I can’t think of at the moment. I enjoy dolls and cute things, but also really like the dark twisted stuff. I learned social interactions through books and analyzing, so my rules may not make sense to you.

I’m a fan of too many series to name, and will hopefully do something writing and/or education related in my career.

I have three younger siblings, a shit ton of cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. I hate Conneticut for the sole reason that it houses my living grandfather.

Um...I think that’s it for now. It’s four am and I should be asleep.
