Yes they do. The jokes r about italian stuff bc…. That is the main reason (at least for most). It doesn’t mean theyre like super srs and raging over it but even as a super popular memey complaint (which is somewhat valid) its still hypocritical and kinda reads ignorant of.. the entire history of Mario and Nintendo in the West

I’m bored of this non-issue and yeah this is still laughable whether it’s about him being a Scawy Cwistian Repubwican Ooooooo, or just.. not fit for the part bc he’s a generic white american without any qualifications to play an italian role, I’ll take it at face value that either way yeah he’s probably not right for the role/not a great guy but like… I also am not convinced many ppl r ? and the whole like idea that everyone needs to be a saint to do a NINTENDO movie is so funny to me
