What im wearing right now: My teenage mutant ninja turtles shirt, pretty baggy on me, and some baggy blue shorts.

When I created this blog: uhhhhh years ago, I think maybe 2012/2013 but I forgot… i remember I made another blog wayyy before this one but yeah, I don’t remember.

Favourite colours: The blue you see when the sun is fully down but its not that late at night, hard to explain really. I like the deep cool colours.

Average hours of sleep: Since I’m not doing anything atm I’m thinking maybe around 6 or 7 hours at least

Hello dear. How are you?

Wouldn't it be cool if Metalhead had a female voice in new tmnt cartoon iteration. Idk why I thought it was gendered as female despite being a robot. Until lately I heard it saying "I will protect mutants" in a male voice. What do you think.

Was that a missed opportunity?

Hello!!

I have thought so much about this since I read it, and it would be great to see a female Metalhead! In fact, I love that idea so much I actually made her for my own version!

So I made Shellby!

Her Metalhead design is meant to be a rush job because of things that will occur in the plot. He named the AI Shellby because many AI's are given female names (Alexa, Cortana, Siri) and it was the first thing he thought of. He used her to control Metalhead as well as perform basic computer tasks and chat with Mikey (because he's clingy and Donnie has very important work he needs to do) She gains sentience at some point and I do not have this fleshed out at all but they end up in Donnie's computer somehow and that's how he discovers she's aware:

And once they're out is when he makes her "casual" body which is meant for daily use and not combat (though, admittedly, it does have weapons and the only reason he doesn't want it used for combat is because he actually put effort into that body. He doesn't care as much if the Metalhead form gets busted since it was basically scrap parts to begin with.

She's his lab assistant and helps keep the lab clean and since Donnie's team medic she assists as nurse Shellby! April and Mikey love dressing her up and they won't leave her alone at all. April actively looks for more cute outfits to put Shellby in. Shellby doesn't mind at all.

A lot of her personality stems from her chatting with Mikey, so she's also bubbly and mischievous like he is. She will change her personality depending on who is around her to accommodate what she thinks they want her to be like. They all like her but Donnie's def a little creeped out by her for a long time since he never designed her to have free will and she sits right in that uncanny valley for him! I can't wait to finally hit where she'll show up and thank you for the wonderful idea! <3

I posted this all to my twitter, but I started my own tmnt au just for funsies!!

I wrote up an entire google doc for it as well lmao. I drew Shredder and Bishop on a stream, I had a lot of fun with all this! Its still not finished, got plenty of other character to draw

decided to do another redraw of my very old tmnt oc’s lmao. 

Top one is from a couple of years ago which was a fun sketchy redraw i decided to do then. I wanted to see how much I have improved over the years.

The emo turtle oc was made when I was like 8 I think, I remember drawing him on ms paint lmao, the catgirl came in when i was preteen-early teens, back when I had my catgirl phase.

I obviously made some changed and revamped them, with the catgirl being more cat-like (rather than a human with cat ears and a tail) and I also changed up her clothes too to fit her personality which is meant to be fun and bubbily. Drawing my emo turtle boy was fun, I remember I used to draw tmnt all the time as a kid and some of that still remains here lmao. He wields a scythe because i was very edgy back then and i think removing that would be disingenuous. (I didn’t draw it in the second pic but i swear its there, its retractable now so i don’t have to draw it all the time hehe)
