Loch Fyne Restaurant Winchester
Loch Fyne is located off the west coast of Argyll and Bute and means Loch of the Vine.  At 40 miles long it is the longest of the Scottish sea lochs.  Loch Fyne is best known for its reputation as an oyster and herring fishery and not growing grapes as the meaning of the name suggests.  There have also been several Scottish sea-fishing records set in the loch.

From the official Tarbert Festivals Website.
Tarbert Seafood Festival 1st – 2nd July 2017 For many years the Seafood Festival has been offering visitors the opportunity to sample the culinary delights that can be created from local produce from the crystal clear waters of Loch Fyne. The Harbour is lined with a variety of stalls operated by the local businesses and hotels showcasing the many local delicacies on offer. Cookery demonstrations using the local seafood on offer are held in the fisherman’s market throughout the day.
It is not only a celebration of our local produce but there is much to be entertained by over the weekend for both locals and visitors alike. One of the highlights of the event is the crowing of the Seafood Festival Queen and her princesses after she has arrived in Tarbert by sea. This is followed by the festival procession through the village of the floats created by local people with a variety of themes, led by the seafood queen and Mid Argyll Pipe Band.
Traditionally Sunday on the fish quay is a great family day out with live music and lots to entertain the kids and adults.
Book your accommodation now to avoid disappointment.
Follow Tarbert Seafood Festival on Facebook for all the latest updates, news and photos!
On the 1st of July along the harbourside will be tasty freshly caught dishes cooked by local establishments,  Whisky tastings, stalls to browse , fun caricatures and even psychic readings!
Stunt bikes and cookery demos, the festival parade and the crowning of the Seafood Queen, live music, entertainment and much more!
On the 2nd of July the fun continues, with live music from the Democrats and GIRLBand Mania, Prizes, Raffles and more!
