prev post reminded me of that time i had a weeklong lapse of judgement n was like 'maybe not every cop as an individual is a bad person' and then my boyfriends dad (cop who caused said lapse of judgement) said the n-slur

#i half admire half pity the ill informed and misdirected desire of some cops to help people #like richard is. a lovely man and i trust him more then i trust my parents #and my sister also wants to b a cop and like. i adore her but oh my god u have #to be a special kind of oblivious to think u can fix the system frpm #w/in it. i think its like. particularly notable that both richard + my sister r surrounded by minorities too actually #like richards wife n kids r aboriginal. my sisters grown up w a family of autistics + me ofc #n yet both of them still think that?? they can fix it from w/in???? idk i'm rambling. i will think abt that more i think #tw police #tw racism
