i won't lie i think it's very funny (in. in a sad way) if most of the chain are having a good time during lu. like, they're hanging out with these other guys who actually GET them in a way almost no one else can, and they don't have to do all the fighting by themselves for once, and they're eating great food all the time and so on. sure, some of them miss their families or homes or whatever, and obviously they sometimes get hurt and have bad experiences, but for the most part they're all chilling.
...and then there's sky. sky, who during the entire thing is absolutely haunted by the fact that all of these people have suffered so much because of him. pretty much all of them began their quests as children, and it was his fault. sky, who doesn't say a word about the curse to anyone, who keeps all his guilt and horror and self-loathing locked up tight inside his chest. every time someone alludes to a traumatic event-even when they're just making a joke-sky has to look away for a moment to compose himself. because that trauma was his fault, too. it only happened because he failed.
he loves the other links just as much as any of them do. he also sees them as his family. but he can only forget himself and actually have a good time briefly, because he'll see time's eye or wild's scars and suddenly remember that he was the one who doomed them all.
(and you would never guess how he's feeling, how he's constantly being crushed under the massive weight of his guilt. he's always sleeping or talking about sun or carving or playing his harp. he seems so peaceful, so happy. he suffers so much, but he suffers in silence. after all, he doesn't deserve to tell anyone how he feels. not when it's all his fault.)

─JULY RAINS ; NAGI SEISHIRO
Tumblr media
-fluff fluff FLUFF, nagi realising he might have a lil crush, just nagi falling for you. REBLOGS + FEEDBACKS ARE APPRECIATED!!
Tumblr media
Nagi was not the resident lover boy. Everyone knew that, he made sure of it. He garnered interest in a few things, video games and football being some examples. The latter, if not for his best friend Reo introducing it to him, maybe wouldn't even have made it in the list. Nagi found most of the things to be a hassle. It was a hassle to get up in the morning, a hassle to brush his teeth, a hassle to get ready and come to school and get through the day. The biggest hassle of all was falling in love and high school relationships. Nagi didn't really get the logic behind all that jazz but he did get confessions in the form of little notes and homemade chocolates. He hated it, all he wanted to do was ignore them and sleep and that's what he did.
But then Nagi met you. Standing under the shelter provided by the bus stop in the pouring rain, a wet umbrella in your hands. He ran there to take shelter from the rain as well and in the process got wet. Swatting away the water from his hair, he felt your eyes on him.
"This is why you should carry an umbrella," you said, nodding your head at him. You were clearly joking as there was a little mischievous smile on your lips.
"It's a hassle to pack an umbrella," he said looking straight, voice as flat as ever.
"It’s a hassle to pack an umbrella?" Your head rolled back in laughter as you repeated his words in a question. Your reaction achieved a pout from Nagi and you thought he looked absolutely adorable in all his puffed out cheek glory.
"My bag becomes too heavy," his explanation was dry, not providing much information.
You smiled in reply, not really understanding this strange boy who found carrying an umbrella during the rainy seasons a hassle. You let it be, deciding that it wasn't really your concern.
"You go to my school?" He looked at the uniform you were wearing and then at his as if to check if they were the same. They were.
"Yes Nagi Seishiro I do go to your school," you chuckled in amusement before continuing "we shared a class last year. I won't blame you for forgetting though. You mostly slept and I never actively socialized with any of my classmates."
"I'm sorry," he rubbed the back of his neck, as embarrassment slowly took over him. A pink hue slowly creeped up his ears. You went to his school, were in the same year as him infact and he didn't even know you existed before this.
You laughed again. You laugh a lot, he noticed.
"No, don't be. I wouldn't have remembered either if you hadn't confidently said the definition of socialism when the question was about the functions of the kidney and still topped the class anyway," you grinned at him and he muttered curses at himself as the probably unwanted memory creeped its way up to the top.
"I'm l/n y/n by the way. You know, a formal introduction since we never really met properly," you stretched your hands towards him.
"Nagi Seishiro but you know that already," he took your hand and shook it gently.
Sitting at a bench provided by the bus stop together, you did not realize when the rain had stopped, the gray clouds slowly drifting by to reveal a clear sky. Nagi told you about his cactus, choki and about how Reo dragged him into football. You learnt that most things were actually a hassle for Nagi and when he said that, you laughed again.
Nagi felt a sense of pride wash over him as he made you laugh. He realized that you actually cracked very lame jokes but he found himself breaking into a small smile when you shared them anyway. It was a jolly scenario. Something in Nagi's heart bloomed when you smiled, beating a bit faster than usual.
Nagi was not your resident lover boy and in all honesty, he never wanted to be but seeing your exuberant personality made something in him glow. He found people to be a hassle, but you, with all your energy, didn't count as one, even if you officially met that day itself. Nagi didn't want to admit it was a crush just yet, he was willing to wait but when your bus came in sight, some sort of dejection took over him.
"Well that's me!" You got up from your seat waving at him as you made your way to the bus.
Just as you were about to get on the vehicle, you turned over your shoulder to look at the white haired male, who's gaze widened at the action.
"Hey Nagi, talk to me in school, yea? I'll be waiting!" You gave him a grin that stretched from ear to ear before getting up on the bus as it soon disappeared out of sight.
Your beaming smile was etched inside Nagi's mind as it sent some kind of fluttering sensation inside him. It wasn't long before he found himself smiling like an idiot while sitting on a bench in the bus stop thinking about you. He got up, his smile still intact, as he began walking towards the metro station.
"Fuck."
That was all Nagi Seishiro could think on a rainy July evening after you left, making a mental note to definitely approach you in school.

prompt #7 w/ fu hua? :>
yes, i can completely imagine her as a pretty stranger in the rain. I actually based the prompt while thinking of her. oh and the grammar is off because this was written when i was on the verge of collapsing from lack of sleep
what a rainy day!
warnings: none just some fluff
pronouns: gender neutral
synopsis: you didn't know it'll rain! The weather forecast said nothing about it.. Unfortunately for you, it was work day and the day after is pay day,, your boss doesn't like people Skipping work no matter what. She even comes into work even if it's a storm outside, but guess mother luck was on your side for you met a stranger at the bus stop as you were wet from the rain pouring and the stranger was kind enough to offer you a walk to the office with their umbrella.
you ran across the street hoping to get shelter from this storm of a rain, cursing to the weather channel because they said it will be completely sunny today. ‘it is soooo sunny outside that i can’t even see the sun’ but then again weather predictions are never really accurate so you can't blame anyone.
As you were running you saw a bus stop and decided to run there and rest for a while before going to work, your boss won't even let you take a leave from work even if there's a earthquake. It was good to be passionate but.. Oh well can't argue when you're getting paid good.
As you got to the bus stop you saw a pretty stranger sitting on the seat. It looked like she was trying to call someone but the line was busy, "um excuse me, can I sit here?" you asked the lady who might I add looked absolutely stunning.
She looked up and smiled “of course, ah... It seems like you didn't bring a umbrella with you?” you only nodded trying to dry your clothes so you don't end up catching a cold.
“the weather is really beautiful when it rains, it almost feels like the place got another life..” the stranger spoke looking at the sky.
“you like the rainy weather? I never really see much point to it but it does feel calming when you're in the house” the stranger looked at you and hummed in acknowledgement.
“I suppose you are right, were you perhaps going somewhere? You don't have to tell me if you don't feel like it” the girl spoke it was clear she was trying her best not to make you uncomfortable.
“I was going to work today, the rain wasn't in the plan or else I would've bought at least a umbrella to not get wet” sighing you looked down “and it looks like it's not stopping any time soon either” the girl beside you spoke.
“how about..” she paused as if she was hesitant with what's she's about to say “how about I drop you off at work?”
you accepted her offer and both of you walked to your office in the rain. It was silent the walk there but, it wasn’t the awkward type of silent more like a calming one. you would have liked to stay like that for a few more moments but the building had arrived and it was time to say goodbye.
“oh, this is it! thank you so much” you thanked the girl and she shook her head and smiled “no need to thank me, i was just free at the moment” as you both bid farewell you realized you never caught her name and she never got to know yours either. It was too late though you were already in the elevator and could only hope you come across the beauty with silver hair.

Prince! Xiao x royal! reader
You are y/n l/n, the daughter of the l/n family. The daughter of duke f/n and duchess m/n and today is such a surprising day for you.
The huge grand clock was ticking, filling the quiet room of your dining table that was once filled with chatter and cheer. The look on your face is priceless and shocking to say the least after hearing a very very surprising news that has reaches your ear.
"Wh-what?!".
You sputtered. You mom and dad smile's at you proudly but their smile didn't hide the anxiety swirling in their eyes.
"Prince Xiao who will soon becomes a king, has invited you to have a dinner with him, in the letter he stated that you have been chosen to be his future wife, isn't it exiting?!".
Your father stated proudly. You shake your head and furrowed your eyebrows. Prince Xiao.. who will be crowned king next week wanted YOU to be his WIFE?!
"Nuuh-!".
You shake you head no.
"There's no way! That I'm going to his dinner party of whatever".
You stated. Your mom and dad looks at you shockingly and in a instant your mom runs towards your chair where you're seated.
"B-but honey- listen.. we know you had your differences in the past but- he wanted to made up! Won't you see him one time? For us? We cannot reject his invitation- he is going to be KING soon".
You sigh and looks down at you half empty plate. You and Xiao used to be such a close friend... Until one day he grew cold, he pushes you away and said that you shouldn't have meet him.
Although it was 15 years ago, you remembered it like it was yesterday.. the tears of loosing him has stayed with you for years to no end.. and now he suddenly wanted YOU to be his WIFE? Your mom felt your distress and you father felt it too but an order from one of the highest rankings of the kingdom cannot be rejected.
"Please... Y/n.. just meet him.. for dinner. I have a feeling he wanted to tell you something.."
You father gently said, he smiles gently towards you once you made a eye contact with him. Your father's begging and your mother's sad and stressed looks is enough to make you accept the invitation with a sigh.
"Fine... But i won't like it".
You gritted out of your teeth. Your mom and dad cheers at you, you might be mad and sad about the whole ordeal but.. you can't really say no to your mom and dad.. can't you?
The birds are singing and the sun is shining.. the sky seems to be in a good mood sadly you and the sky doesn't seem to have the same mood today.
"You look great sweetheart".
Your father said, squeezing your hand with a huge smile on his face while your mother is smothering you with compliments and praises more than usual.
"Ahhh gosh who knew our little girl would be a pretty elegant woman?!"
She squeal. You giggle and puts a small gentle smile on your face. As much as you hated this day.. at least you'll know that the both of your parent will be happy while you're away.
You kiss the both of their cheek and took a step back. You mom hugs you one last time.
"We know this is hard for you but.. we really do hope you sort out your differences".
You gave them a sad smile.
"We shall see.."
And with that you step inside the carriage and started to make your way to the kingdom... Oh boy.. you do hope that you'll be able to carry on smoothly.. the emotional scar in the past hasn't heal and you're afraid that you'll bleed and lose control.. you quickly shake your head and slap your face gently with both hand.
"You'll be fine! You'll be fine y/n l/n. He will NOT be the cause of you loosing control. Period!"
You look out the window after a couple of hour of ride. The castle is in full view. In a couple of minutes you'll be reaching the castle... Your anxiety is blowing up inside you.. some part of you are happy that you'll get to see him but.. some parts of you are just.. scared.
As you walked out of the carriage, you can feel your legs trembling tremendously. One of your maid ask if you're okay and of course you say yes... Even though you're obviously lying the maid doesn't say anything more. The maid doesn't know what to say, and you cannot blame her.
You took a deep breath and started to Walk towards the humongous door way.
One of the knight opened the huge door and bow down, letting you walk inside the palace. Gosh... It has been 15 years since you last saw the palace.. nothing really change around here accept for the tense aura that you bring upon yourself.
A fellow butler bow Infront of you as you courtesy back to him with a friendly smile on your face.
"We have been expecting your arrival lady y/n, please follow me. The prince has been waiting for your arrival".
Ever since you stepped into the castle, no words are being spoken out from your mouth as if a curse was upon you to not allow you to talk, when in reality you're just nervous and loose your voice. In a couple of second.. you will meet you childhood crush who crushes your heart.. how are you suppose to be calm?!
You and the butler stopped in front of a huge golden coloured door that's decorated with your favourite flower... Interesting.. you are too deep into your headspace that you didn't notice the butler beside you is asking you a question until he clears his throat, making you jump.
"S-sorry"
You said, the butler smile's softly at you and bow down for a while and then he whisper to your ears.
"You'll be fine lady y/n, please relax. Are you ready my lady?"
He ask and then pulled away from you, giving a soft smile towards you. You flash a Sad smile and nodded towards him as he opened the door revealing a beautiful glass room. The walls the glass... Everything is magical.. the place's is filled with your favourite flower, favourite colour and design. Even though the room is absolutely enchanting, you cannot ignore the man in the middle of the room. Sitting on one of the fancy chair with a glass of tea on his lips. He slowly puts down his cup and stare at you with his yellow glowing eye.. that you remember.
Tumblr media
You straighten your back and walk towards him as he stands up and walk towards you too. Just as you were about to reach him your gosh darn clumsy leg slip, making you stumble forward lucky you manage to catch yourself before you fall. You quickly take your none existence composure back and looked at Xiao with a huge red across your face.
Xiao saw you stumble and.. oh god of rex lapis.. you just becomes prettier and prettier the more he saw you.. the way you stumble is not elegant but it is cute.. it reminds him of a little... Kitten stumbling.
"Becareful, we would want you to fall".
..... What.. he wanted to slap himself for saying that as he took out the chair for you.
"Y-yes thankyou your highness".
You wanna slap yourself for stuttering UGH why is this so embarrassing?! You sat down slowly on the chair he has pulled out as you watch him goes back to his seat. The table is round and is made out of glass, making Xiao able to see everything in a pretty close proximity since the table is pretty small..
The two of you sat in silence. You are staring at your hand from above the table while Xiao is looking everywhere else but you. The aura here is so tense.. which is understandable but Xiao can sense a rather... Heavy aura coming out of you. Not that he's wrong. The sense of anger and confusion slowly engulfed you and starting to get the best of you.
"Why did you invite me here?"
You spat out, you quickly wanted the earth to swallow you whole but it's too late to go back so you decided to swallow your pain and cringe and started to pull up your head to look at prince Xiao.
Xiao was.. not surprised in the slightest.. he knew you must be mad about the event that took place 15 years ago... But Xiao cannot stand anything anymore.. after he got mature he knows what to do.. he finally has the courage to ask you for a dinner with him.
"To make you my wife".
Xiao respond. Loud and clear. you furrowed your eyebrows, is this all? No explanation? No sorry just a proposal? Is this all really? You tsked and roll your eye. Lady etiquette? Frick that. Throw that away you wanted explanation.
"Just that?"
You spat, staring at Xiao dead in the eye. Xiao realize the mistake he made and sigh quietly trying to fix everything but his pride won't allow him to do so..
"No.."
He trail's off as he prepare his mental.
"I wanted to apologize.. for the event 15 years ago.."
You sigh and without you noticing your shoulder slowly relaxed as you stare at your hand, fiddling with your thumb. A habbit that hasn't left you since you're small.
"I was young and dumb.. at that time".
Xiao looks at your eyes, filled with emotion.. sad and anger emotion swirling inside your pretty e/c coloured eye.
"I was- i was scared.."
He trail's off. You tried to hold your tears the best of your ability. Scared? Of what? What is he scared about to make him wanted to abandon you?
"We were going on a war soon.. and as the future king of this kingdom it's either kill or be killed. At first i realize that maybe it's better if you just.. stay away from me, thinking that it will keep you safe-"
His words was cuts off when he heard a little noises coming from you. He focuses his entire body and mind towards you as he saw tears running down your face. With wide eye he quickly runs towards you and spin you chair, making you spin too. You close your face, not wanting to show Xiao the mess you are right now. Xiao kneel in front of you and hold your shoulder.
"Y/n? I-i'm sorry.. i wanted to make you happy and safe is all! I never wanted to abandon you nor make you cry i just-"
Xiao looks at you sadly and hugs you as you sob to his shoulder, you hugs him back, letting your emotions out. You don't care if your tears stained his suit. You just wanted his warmth. The warmth that you missed for all of this years.
"I just.. wanted you to be safe.. i wanted you to be happy. I thought pushing you away will be better but.. i was wrong. Very wrong. And it was stupid of he to take 15 years to finally realize that i cannot live without you. I'm sorry".
You shake your head no and hug Xiao back.
"N-no I'm sorry! I was- i was stupid! I should've ask you what's wrong! I should've-"
You were about to continue when xiao pulled you away and puts his palm on your cheek while he looks at you deep into your soul through your eye.
"No. You're not stupid. Never say that. You're not wrong... Okay .. stop feeling like you're wrong. Stop blaming yourself".
He whisper. He push his face closer to your face and smile's at you gently and sweetly.
"Shh... It's okay dear.. I'm sorry okay.. can you forgive me?"
You nod your head 'yes' slowly as you tried your best to flash him your warmest smile. Xiao wrapped his arms around your shoulder, hugging you again and tighter.
"Even after all this year's... I still.. i still harbor deep feelings.. towards you.. that's why i ask you to be my fiancee. I can never.. move on. Never. I am aware that asking your hand in Marriage right now is too fast but.. I'm willing to do anything to make you fall for me again.. would you take my attempts to make you fall for me again?"
You giggle and hugs Xiao back, shaking your head while little hiccups is spoiling from your mouth.
"N-no need... Because even until now i still keep my feelings for you and only you Xiaobebe".
You talk while sobbing, giggling and smiling at Xiao. Xiao just giggle alongside you and kiss your lips passionately as you kiss him back. Once you both pull away from eachother to take some air, you decided to crack a joke.
"Gosh... We're so cheesy".
Xiao full on laugh and kissed your temple, and kiss you back.
"Shut up... You ruin the moment my princess".
You giggle against his lips and hugs your hand around his neck.
"Shush. You don't mind"
You reply with a sassy tone. Xiao humn and looks at you dead in the eye.
"So sassy huh? Since when is your lips so spicy?"
He puts his thumb on your mouth and stroke your mouth slowly with his thumb.
"Let's see how long can you keep up the sassy act princess".
He nibble on your neck, making a rawr noise and then pull you up princess style from your seat. He opened the door and started to bring you through the hallway and making his way to his bedroom.
Unknowingly the both of you, Xiao's butler and your maid was listening to your every conversation with a wide smile on their face.
"Such a wonderful relationship~".
Your maid said with a fake tears running down her face. The butler just smiled and walked away from the place they were eavesdropping.
"Let's go, we have a wedding to plan people!"
The butler shout's as the maid and servants around him cheer. You have always bring the colour to the cold hearted Prince's heart everyone ships the both of you and now your presence will bring warmth to the whole kingdom and the future king's heart while filling the newspaper with amazing news.

Clé: Miroh (3)

Clé: Miroh (3)
Pairing: Bang Chan x reader ft. Stray kids & Got7
Warnings: Slight profanity
Summary: An up and coming singer is introduced to the rough and unfair world of the music industry when she is tricked into a fake relationship with a popular idol. Her entire world has been turned upside down and now not only is she hated by millions of fans around the world but she is now despised by her...boyfriend?
———————-
Auriella, though seen as a bubbly and happy person, did not live a simple life. When she was born, her birth parents abandoned her at an orphanage with nothing but a raggedy baby blanket and her name written on a note. That's it.
Her life in the orphanage was hell, to say the least. Young Auriella was bullied, mistreated and lonely. The other orphans at the home she was in always felt the need to push her around and belittle her in everything she did. Auriella tried hard to fit in and did all sorts of favors in hopes of being accepted, but to no avail. The mistreatment didn't stop until Auriella was taken out of the orphanage by her record label.
Auriella has been through hell and back yet still woke every morning with a smile on her face. She had her group, who she had worked skin and bone for, be taken away from her, been forced to uproot her entire life and move across the world for a group of people she had never met. Nevermind all of the bullshit she had to endure in her childhood. She was far from selfish and this ignorant stranger, Bang Chan, had no right to sit and assume he knew anything about her.
She tried to be nice and civil but enough was enough. Auriella would not sit back and be treated unfairly by someone she sacrificed so much for. Yes, both Auriella and Chan were forced into this situation but Chan had nothing, absolutely nothing, taken away from him. Okay, he moved from a tiny dorm and into a gigantic mansion, free of charge. So what? No. He didn't get to complain. He didn't get to complain because he still had his group and he still had his parents. From Auriella’s point of view, she picked the short stick of the situation. Yet, he had the right to complain? Hell no.
“I was tricked into signing that contract. I was in a pretty successful group back in the states, but you wouldn't know that, would you?” She looks deep into Bang Chan’s eyes. “We just released an album, that I spent a year writing and perfecting by the way, and the next thing I know I get called into a meeting expecting a conversation about the songs I wrote for the album but you wanna know what I got instead?” Auriella was standing now. He wanted answers? He was about to get them. Loud and clear.
“Pray tell, your majesty, what did little baby Auriella get?” Chan continued to tease her despite the tears of anger and frustration he saw rolling down her face.
“A plane ticket and a letter of termination from my group.” Everyone in the room was shocked to hear the young girl’s blunt response.
“What are you-” Chan began to ask but Auirella wasn't done.
“That's right. I was pulled out of the group that I started and shoved on a plane. Why? Because your company wanted you to have more publicity to promote your group.” She made sure to maintain eye contact with the leader while she emphasized to ensure he was getting the point.
“You hear anything odd about what I just said, Chan? Because I did.” Auriella made sure to single him out. He was the only one of the members to treat her unfairly. “All of this was done for you, therefore you are the only one to benefit in any way. I lost my group, so you could keep yours. I had to halt my career, so you could get more attention for yours. I had to move to the other side of the fucking world for you! So no, Chan, this isn't my fault, it's yours.” She pointed an accusing finger at the now silent idol, who continued to stare at the spot in front of him.
“I tried to make the best of the situation because at least one of us would benefit somehow. Even if I lost everything, at least you and your group would be better off. Hell, I even bought this house so you could all be more comfortable. I chose not to fight and throw a fit over this situation because I don't want to be selfish and only think of myself. What do you know about that? Being selfless?” She had lowered her voice now, drained and frustrated from the treatment she had received as well as the unnecessary argument.
Some of the members who were still learning english turned to Felix and Jisung for a better translation of what had just occurred. By the time the two boys had finished explaining, Auriella had vanished. The entire dining room fell silent as the shock set in with the new information that was revealed.
“Like I was saying, hyung, she was forced into the situation too, but what do I know, right?” Changbin said looking at his leader in irritation. He had tried to say this earlier but Chan was quick to cut off his words and deem his input as irreverent.
“Changbin-ah-” Chan sighed, disappointed in himself.
“Don't bother.” Changbin pushed out his chair and walked off towards the staircase leading to his room.
Chan messed up. He knew that now. Not only had he misjudged an innocent girl but he also unfairly lost his temper on one of his members and he knew he had to make things better.
Since dinner was clearly over, the remaining members cleared the table and soon excused themselves to their respective rooms. Bang chan stayed behind though and went out to the balcony to get some fresh air. On days when he felt overwhelmed or stressed, he liked to go out alone to think and reevaluate things that were on his mind.
Chan wished he had given Aurilla a chance. All of the things Chan fought for, Auriella had taken from her and it was her fault. He cursed at her, teased and made fun of her while she had been nothing but nice and welcoming to him and his group. She cooked for them and even bought a large house so that they could more comfortable. How did he repay her? By calling her names and blaming her for something he knew nothing about.
“I am such a dick.” Chan muttered to the dark sky, as he looked to the stars.
“Yes, you are.” A soft voice startles him out of his thoughts. “Glad to know that you’re aware.”
“Auriella..” He stands to find the new voice in the darkness.
Coming into the light and closing the sliding door, Auriella signed and sat on one of the many chairs out on the deck. “I get it, Chan. You fight tooth and nail for your group and to make your family proud and you didn't want to risk a stranger messing up any of that for you. I get it.”
“If I knew..I am so sorry, Auriella. I swear, I had no idea that they did all of that to you and your group. You did so much for us and I just..” The disappointment and shame was clear in the boy’s voice.
Auriella stared at him for a moment. He wasn't a bad person, he was afraid and fragile. Auriella knew the music industry all too well and she was aware of the harsh conditions and rules of it as well. Though Korea was an entirely different place, she had heard enough horror stories of the industry on this part of the world to stay away and be cautious. He was just trying to protect himself and his group from the harsh world that was K-pop.
Thought she understood, that didn't give him the right to treat her the way. She had lost too much and sacrificed too much for him and all he could do was judge and assume. He didn't have to like her and she didn't have to like him but they were stuck. Al they had to do was pretend until their companies took pity on them and let them out of their contract.
“How about this,” She suggested with a smile, a faint outline of her dimple making itself clear. “You stay out of my way, and I stay out of yours. We do what JYP wants until this whole thing is over and we leave it at that.” She said, keeping firm eye contact.
Chan was startled to hear that. “I-i dont-.”
“You don't have to like me. You don't have to be my friend. But you don't get to judge me or assume anything about my life because you don't know me.” Without giving the boy a second glance, the small girl walked off back into the house, her footsteps fading into the darkness.
__________________________________
The next morning, sounds of laughter and squeals filled the large kitchen. After Auriella had gone back into the house the night before, Jisung bumped to Auriella and saw she was upset. After staying up most of the night venting and getting to know one another, Jisung and Auriella had gotten close.
“You're gonna burn the bacon, Han!” Auriella giggled as he bumped his hips into hers, pushing her away from her mixing bowl of pancake batter.
“Me? I have no idea what you mean.” Jisung laughed, his Malaysian accent stronger than ever.
The two were oblivious to the nine pairs of eyes watching them from the entrance to the kitchen. The ruckus of pots, pans and laughter had awoken the group of sleeping boys from their slumber. Meeting each other in the hallway and sharing looks of confusion, they followed the sounds down the stairs and soon found their member and the young girl cooking. Together.
After a few moments of watching and whispering to one another, Minho cleared his throat to break apart the giggling pair.
“Uh..good morning?” Hyunjin greeted in english.
“Good morning! How’d you all seep?” Auriella beamed.
“Umm pretty good. I see you two are friendly this morning.” Felix said, eyeing the two cautiously.
Jisung shared a kind smile with the smaller girl and turned back to the stove.
“Jeongin, honey?” Auriella called out sweetly to the young boy. She was going to need some help setting the table for breakfast.
“Noona?” He replied almost instantly, seemingly out of habit.
The room grew quiet. They hadn't gotten a chance to talk about honorifics yet, seeing as Auriella wasn't a korean but would be living in korea from now on.
“I’m sorry?” Auriella looked shocked. Had he just cursed at her in korean?
Jisung laughed at the girls offended expression. “We need to teach you korean as soon as possible.”
As the group sat down eating breakfast, Chan’s phone rang and his tone changed from calm to serious and down to business. Once he hung up, he cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.
“That was JYP, he wants us to meet him at the company.” He announced.
“Us as in..?” Felix asked.
Chan turned to Auriella, looking in her general direction but still not directly at her, “All of us.”
In the car on the way to the company, the boys told Auriella about basic korean expectations when it came to elders. They told her about bowing and taught her a few polite words to use in vase they ran into any other artists that were older than them. They were taken through a back alley way and into a secret door to avoid being seen and photographed. They didn't need to explain a ‘mystery girl’ to their fans just yet, not until the company was ready for them to.
After getting into an elevator and going up a few floors, the group walked into the room they were told to go to and walked in to find JYP sitting behind his desk.
“Welcome come in, come in.” Auriella was surprised to hear english coming from the man.
“Hi! What’s-” The bubbly girl began to say just as the boys behind her bowed and greeted in korean. Whoops.
“Auriella, remember what I said about-” Felix started.
“No, no it's okay. So you must be the famous Auriella. You're very cute.” JYP said smiling down at the small girl.
“Oh, thank you, sir.” The girl blushed and began fiddling with her fingers.
“Aigoo.” The man cooed. “You'll fit right in here. Everyone is going to love you. How are you all getting along? I hope these boys haven't given you any trouble. “He looked back up to the members behind her, raising an eyebrow.
Auriella didn't hesitate. “They've been great! I think we’ll be good friends.” she smiled big.
Chan let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. Even though him and Auriella had talked, barley, he didn't expect her to be so quick to cover his unfair actions towards her.
“I’m glad to hear that!” He exclaimed. “Well, the reason I called you all down her is because I thought you might be a bit more comfortable if you met some more people. Since you're going to be around from now on, I thought it would be nice to introduce you to some other artists here at the company.” He explained.
“Oh, yes! That would be nice. I’m always open to making new friends.” She was excited. If she was going to be stuck in a foreign country, at least she could make new friends and memories.
“Great! A lot of our artists are busy with tours and comebacks at the moment but one of our other groups happen to have a free schedule today and are very excited to meet you.” He said.
“They know me?” She asked shyly.
“Yes, they do and one of the members is your biggest fan, so he's been waiting to meet you.” He confessed with a wink and kind smile.
“Now I cant wait. I love meeting my fans.” She said, feeling giddy.
“Well, come on, they are in one of the practice rooms.”
The group followed JYP down the hall and into a room that had loud music and laughter coming from it. Walking in, there were 7 boys total spread all throughout the room. Some were lying across the floor while some stood against the mirrored wall or in a chair. They all turned their heads towards the door when they walked in.
Jyp said something in Korean to the new group of boys after one of the men turned off the stereo. They all got into a line and bowed to their CEO and the members of Stray Kids did the same to their superior group as well. The tallest member of the group locked eyes with Auriella but quickly looked away when she sent a smile his way.
Auriella, I would like you to meet Got7. They-” The CEO didn't get a chance to finish before an excited male voice squealed.
“Ella!?”
The girl was confused. The only person who called her that was-
“Jack-jack?” The boy in question opened his arms wide towards the small girl as she ran to him and jumped onto him with a loud giggle.
The remaining people in the room were confused at the sudden interaction of the two hugging people.
Felix turned to his leader. “How does she know Jackson sunbaenim?” he whispered.
“I have no clue, mate, but they seem..” Chan paused as they all watched Jackson kisses her forehead and spin her in a circle. “Close?”
Chan didn't know why but he felt his face reddened slightly in envy as Auriella looked up to his sunbae with such a bright smile. She tried to be kind to him and he ruined it. Now she hated him, and it was his fault. She didn't smile at him like that. So bright and happy. How did they know each other? And how were they so close?
Chan had a lot of time to re-think and regret his actions towards Auriella. He tried many times to approach her but each time, she brushed him off coldly. He just wanted to start over. He had unknowingly ruined her life and he wanted to at least try to make that better, but he couldn't do that if she avoided him like the plague.
He wanted to be her friend too. In the short time she was around, he couldn't help but notice is members becoming more and more infatuated with her. Her tiny squeaks when someone would pop up in front of her unexpectedly, how she would turn red in the face when one of the members would keep eye contact a little too long. She was sweet and kind and innocent and she had been handed an unfair battle that she couldn't win; a contract. Bang Chan just wanted to fix the mess he caused. That would be though, considering she wanted nothing to do with him.
“I heard an Auriella was coming but I had no idea it was my little baby! How have you been? Last I heard you were trying to get signed to a record label.” Jackson Wang said as he looked down at the small girl.
“I got signed to one! Ugh so much has happened, you wouldn't believe.” She said with a look. “ Hows mama? And papa? Are doing well?” She started up at Jackson.
“Wait, how do you guys know each other?” JYP asked, his voice full of confusion.
“We met a national tournament. I was on the national fencing team and little Ella here,” He rubbed her head affectionately. “was chosen to sing the national anthem. My family and I were assigned to take care of her while she was in China and she stayed with us and traveled with the team while we competed.” He explained.
“Ah, I see.” The CEO said. “Well, it's nice to see that she already has a friend here. You guys seem close.” He observed.
“You have to meet everyone!” Jacson exclaimed, jumping about. He pulled the small girl by her waist towards his eager group mates and began introducing them to each other.
“Oh, and this is our youngest member, Yugyeom. He’s your biggest fan.” Jackson wiggled his eyebrows as he introduced his two friends.
“I heard you were a fan. I’m so excited to meet you!” Auriella smiled brightly as she held her hand to the taller boy.
“I-it is nice to meet you.” He stuttered, discreetly wiping his right hand on his shirt before shaking the girls petite hand. Yugyeom’s heart sped up the moment their hands touched. The boy had been a fan of her and her group for years, constantly talking about her to his members which led to teasing but he never thought he would ever get the chance to meet her, let alone be signed to the same company.
Jackson saw how flustered his bandmate had become and laughed and put his arm around Auriella once more.
“You can stare at her later, maknae.” He teased before turning to look at the young girl at his side. “You and I have some catching up to do.”
Across the room, the members of Stray kids stared in awe at the unexpected reunion.
“Wow, that's so amazing. It's a small world, huh?” Felix said, amazed.
“Yeah, crazy.” Chan replied, sounding distracted, staring at the group before him but his eyes were distant.

Kashmir Pt. 4: Flashback - Heston Losing Starbright & Starbright's Sacrifice~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Written with @where-the-hot-springs-blow
As ever, forever editing~...
...
Starbright was one of his earliest companions.
He'd had dalliances and romances before. He'd taken women under his wing to learn the ways of the Order under him, as he had with Starbright. She was his most apt pupil & most devoted companion, bestowing upon him the teasing nickname of "Professor" from their earliest days. She was always teasing him. No one could do that better than her & be assured that Heston would take it in as good spirits as it was intended. No one on earth or beyond knew Heston better than Starbright. No one could handle his moods so deftly, soothing the savage beast inside him so entirely & offhandedly, as though it were second nature to her. All the Order knew that her power was only second to his & that the Hermit allowed her an audience with him in her meditations as he had with Heston. All the Order felt if not knew that with such a kinship among them they were likely to marry & make that bond between them even more permanent.
He'd also taken women as "feedlings". Women who allowed themselves to be kept by the Counts, who would be well taken care of in return for allowing the Counts to feed from them. As had many of the other Counts. It was all consensual of course. There were rules about these things in the Order. Nonconsensual energy & blood draining only came in battle, in cases of defense, never against the defenseless like maidens or children.
Women came to them to offer themselves unto the Counts to serve them. Often they came after hearing or reading of the Counts & the Order. It seemed almost from the start there were books, articles & even your basic everyday village gossip about the Counts and the Order. As such they were never lacking in female companionship, "feedlings" or conspirators.
Conspirators like the villagers who would storm their castles, enraged at their ladies who had "gone missing". Blaming the Counts when the "missing women" left voluntarily, rather than be sold into marriage to lads they either felt nothing for or reviled, or continue on in loveless marriages they had already been sold into.
But no...
Such an answer was inconceivable to these townsfolk.
No...
Instead it had to be the Counts' fault. Or in Jimmy's case, "the EVIL Lord Heston who lives over the Loch & only comes down to terrorize the town & steal "unsuspecting" maidens to join his "witches coven" & work under & serve him".
Preposterous foolishness the lot of it!
Those idiots didn't understand and they never would.
Alas, that blind idiocy & willful ignorance is what often lead to the storming of castles and battles. Battles like the one in which he lost Starbright.
She had come to him where he was yet again locked up in a library - this time his own - with her premonitions of yet another war with angry villagers incited to rage yet again over the same stupid "problem" that they themselves had caused but were yet again seeing fit to blame Heston & his ilk for!
She told him of how the castle must be protected at all costs, that his energy must go there, that he must fight for the most part without magic. She had then hesitated, eyes welling with tears & leading him to rise from his desk to wrap her in his embrace & comfort her, before telling him that it was likely that he would lose one close to him in the battle. Even under the best circumstances. She couldn't stop crying with the news, both of their star sapphire rings glowing as he soothed her. He thought it was just from the gravity of the message, and her love for him, and her love and hope for his and their people's wellbeing that had brought her to tears.
Little did he know...
He had taken every precaution, even putting up a forcefield around his castle for protection, most of his magic was centered on protecting that & his people. It was thus to be a mostly hand to hand battle. He gave Starbright his best shield as she took up her sword, handling her share of the enemy villagers well, not wanting to use magic herself, unless absolutely necessary. They were then able to hold the enemy off but still found it difficult to do away with them completely.
Indeed, it was Starbright striking the penultimate blow at the most crucial time in battle. When it looked as if Heston's enemies might gain the upper hand & were getting ready to advance towards his castle. She dismantled the forcefield he'd spent so much energy & magic creating around her. One that struck back with lightning or a jolt at anyone who dare try to strike her.
She instead concentrated that magic & energy into a little ball with her own. Raising it above her head as the air crackled around her. Heston felt the shield dismantle & turning to her shocked, wondering how it was possible as no one on the other side had that power. Only to see her in just that hyper focused energy & magic gathering stance. One of her maids cried. One of Heston's men cried out.
"What are you doing, my lady~?"
Even though~...
Deep down~...
They knew~...
What got Heston the most about her death in battle was the fact that she was actually a very adept swordswoman. One of the best in the land! She had defeated Heston's enemies in hand to hand combat time and time again. Coupled with how Heston had made sure that every precaution was taken to ensure her safety.
Still...
He was thwarted...
By none other than the selfless Lady Starbright herself...
Her shield she gave to one of her ladies in need. Her sword she gave to one of those fighting for Heston. And his shield he created for her & the magic he nurtured within her she used as an attack against their enemy...
Leaving herself vulnerable at what ultimately proved to be a crucial moment...
Every precaution taken against the enemy worked...
But still Starbright was sacrificed in his name at the end...
Impaled on an enemy's sword in a cheap surprise sneak attack!
Heston played the scene over and over in his head.
Seeing her release the volley of magical energy at the enemy with a
"HA~!"
Then a split second later hearing one of his men crying out...
"MY LADY~!"
Starbright's eyes widening & fixing in the far off distance, her cupid's bow lips parting with a gasp. As a long blade proceeded to thrust itself outward from the center of Starbright's chest~ A rogue party, the last survivor present from the enemy's side having found a way to sneak up behind Starbright & proceeding to sheath his sword in her, lifting her off the ground in the process, her feet dangling in the air as he cursed at her.
"Ruinous witch~! Fiendish harlot~! Death is too good for your kind you villainous little guttersnipe wench~!"
Little did he know, a little of her magic remained, striking the final blow, reverberating through his sword & shocking him. Getting him to drop the sword from where he held it on high, and in the process, her as well. Starbright falling in a heap onto the ground, the blade falling with her.
Heston instantly forgot everything before him, running to her side, his own sword & shield on the ground beside them as the sky opened up with a flash of lightning, an almighty clap of thunder and a freakish downpour of rain through a clear, cloudless, starlit sky.
"My love... My angel... How could you endanger yourself like this~? How could I not have been at your side~!" Tears falling from his eyes, splashing onto her cheeks as he holds her. He feels her hand grasping his, weakly, but indeed reaching for him.
Starbright just laughed weakly at that and at Heston's sweetly lying through his teeth about her fighting through and healing the wound. Even Aurora their adept healer friend & Lord Saltburn's companion, couldn't seal it as hard as she tried. And oh, how she tried... Even though a wound like that was usually not that hard for her to heal.
Heston thusly ordered her to be carefully lifted & brought to their bedchamber but she refused. Not wanting to sully the place he dreams with such a nightmare. Not wanting to infringe and impose on the place he was to lay his weary head & rest with her condition.
But he refused to have her exposed to the elements in her weakened state. The clouds only now starting to cover the sky as it continued to rain. And so she settled for being brought carefully to one of his studies.
To his words threatening to have the hide if not head of anyone who aggravated her pain in transporting her, she simply smiled weakly, the curving of her lips a shadow of that earlier triumphant look she had upon release of her final attack.
"I did my job~... We won~... You are safe now, my love~... All is well~... Well~... Well~... Well as it can be~... Well as can be expected~..."
As she was transported up to the house & to the study with Heston following close by, he saw a sort of shimmering mist hovering above her body & starting to engulf her in a faint halo of the same...
And so it begins~...
Heston himself was still moving, though numb to everything but his beloved Starbright & her mortal wound. He faintly heard her maids around him, heard some were inconsolable at the sight of her, but could not bring himself to do more than hold her hand, try to raise her strength. His tears falling still on her chalk-pale face. The rosiness of her lips fading fast.
Once in the study, laid out on a plush comforter on the table, safe inside with Heston & the rest of her loved ones, Starbright came clean. She laughed at the sight of her hand glowing & shimmering. Now seeing the process herself. Then, she remarked.
"I told you I had a vision once~... Before the battle~... But I wasn't entirely honest with you it seems, my love~... And for that I am truly sorry~... Deeply sorry~... For you see I~... I~... I~... I had a feeling I might need to do this~... Might need to leave this way~... I have no regrets~..."
Then after a pause, she added.
"Actually that's a lie~... Forgive me, Hermit~... Wherever you are~... You know my heart as well as anyone~... You know as well as I do what my regret is~... I don't want to leave~... Not really~... Not like this~... Not my Heston~... I don't wish to leave my Heston for anything in the world~... But I couldn't let any harm fall to him~..."
She turned to gaze into his eyes with hers edged with tears, giving his hand a weak little squeeze.
"I don't, my love~... I don't wish to leave you for anything in the world~... That's why I couldn't tell you~... Couldn't say it~... Couldn't find the words~... Even if I had~... What if I had~?... Knowing you, Lord Heston you'd probably lock me up in some tower~... You'd do whatever you could to ensure that I not set one foot outside~... Keeping me from setting one foot outside~... Keeping me from setting one foot on the battlefield~... Keeping me from your side~... Where I belong~... Where I belong~... Where we both know I belong~... But if I let any harm or misfortune befall you knowing I could have done something to prevent it~... I couldn't live with myself~... And so~... I must~... I must leave~... Must leave you~... As I have been called to do~... Though I will have to be torn from you to do so~... Though I do not want to~... I must~... I must~... I must~..."
After a pause, she then added.
"But I will be back~... I promise to you~... I pledge to you~... I swear to you~... I will be back~... I will be back~... I will~... I will~... I will~..."
At one point he found he could no longer stand, falling to his knees beside her. Whispered incantations spilling from his lips in his final attempt to save her. To give of his own life force to her. Halving his own lifespan to restore hers. It is a risk he was willing to take...
He then felt an energy - her energy - weak but still potent, blocking his cutting his lifespan & transferring his life force to her, rendering him unable to do anything of the sort. Starbright, as ever, protecting him even in her weakened, wounded state. She shook her head at him with a soft, knowing smile.
"No~... No~... No, my love~..."
She gave his hand another little squeeze as she leant in to whisper in his ear.
"Wait for me~..."
"I can’t, my love... I can’t stand by and do nothing for you~!" He grasped her hand, weeping openly, pleading with her to allow him to save her life.
"Starbright, please, my love~... I am centuries old, my life force can save yours... How can you stop me from saving your life~?" His hand cupped her cheek, wiping blood from her skin gently.
"I will go to the Hermit - I will seek his help in bringing you back! I will give my life for yours, my love~!"
Despite her pleas, her energy blocking his magicks, he tried still to overpower her blocks, trying to save her still.
She merely shook her head.
"No~... No~... No, my love~... If I come back at all~... And I feel in my heart I will~... But if I come back~... When I come back~... The day I come back~... I shall come back to you~... You~... You and only you~..."
She pet his hair gently, weakly with her free hand.
"You wouldn't~... You wouldn't take that away from me~... You wouldn't have me come back to a world & a home so strange & unfamiliar, so cold & empty~... So as to be devoid of my one true love~... My heart's desire & my reason for all that I do~... My Professor~... My everything~... Would you~?... Would you~?... No~... No~... Of course not~... You couldn't~... You wouldn't~... You'd never do that to me~... You could never be so cruel~... Please~..."
She gave his hand another squeeze & leant in to peck his cheek.
"Give me something to come back to~... Something to come home to~... Please~... Please~... Please my darling, please~... Don't let me come home to an empty house & bed~... And world and life~... With no candle in the window for me to make my way back to~... With no one to come home to~... Please~... Please, my dearest love~... Please~..."
With another kiss she pledged to him.
"I promise~... I promise~... I promise I'll do my best to come back~... My absolute best~... And when I come back~... I promise~... I promise~... You'll know it's me~... I promise~... I promise~... I promise~..."
She kept repeating her words as the glow about her got stronger & stronger & her voice got weaker & weaker. At last, she pressed her lips more firmly to his cheek. She showered his profile in kisses and gave his hand the biggest, strongest grip she could - which wasn't much - as she hushed into his ear.
"I love you, James Patrick Page~... I love you~... I love you~... I love you~... My Lord~... My Count~... My Heston~... My Professor~... My James~... My Jimmy~... My love~... And I will return to you one day~... I will come back to you~... I swear it~... I swear it~... I swear~... I swear~... I~... I~... I~... I~... I~... Swear~..."
With that her grip on his hand loosened & her hand fell limp in his as did the rest of her against him & the table. The glow around her settling to just a faint purple haze of shimmer.
The only glow left in the room being from the fireplace, candlelight & Starbright & Heston's matching Star Sapphire jewelry. The center stones of their matching rings glowing the brightest on each of their left ring fingers...
Promise rings...
A promise of a future together that had yet to pass...
A future in which she was to be Heston's wife...
Heston’s tears flowed down his porcelain cheeks, the howling, inhuman sounds filling the room barely recognisable as his own sobs as she slipped away from him, her beautiful eyes closing...
He lay his head upon her still-warm breast, unable to stand or let go of her...
Only able to whisper to her
"I believe you, my heartlight... I believe you~... I believe we will find each other again..."
He pressed his lips to her ring, feeling the glowing heat warming his cold skin, watching until the glow faded out on each of their rings. He could not move, could not speak, could do nothing but weep at her side, refusing to leave her, even as the colour & life left her.

What does GRRM mean with this: "Q:[Will Sandor and Sansa meet?] A: Why, the Hound is dead, and Sansa may be dead as well. There's only Alayne Stone". Because what he says doesn't add up in the actual text from AFFC. In the Alayne chapters 'Alayne' still has a lot of 'Sansa thoughts'. I don't see any indication that Sansa is 'dead' no more than that Arya is 'dead'. I know The Hound isn't dead either, but he is supposed to be but his comments about Sansa/ Alayne confuse me a bit.
Don’t we all want to know what that means exactly!  It’s a very cheeky answer that GRRM is want to give when he wants to skirt around spoiling something yet to unfold.  Very observant reading by the way.  More under the cut because this will be long.
Sandor’s part of the quote is a lot easier to understand.  The Hound is dead, but Sandor lives.  Obviously this isn’t about literal death.  His duality and struggle with the Hound persona was already well-established.  In hindsight, we can see this end to this persona is coming what with “a hound will die for you…”  Later when he’s mortally wounded, all his options to return Arya and find a way back to Sansa have dried up, and not until he’s completely broken and stripped down does he finally confess his regrets and take full responsibility for his moral failings.  This is the Hound’s death rattle.  This is Sandor getting back in touch with his humanity and noblest self.
His time as the gravedigger is a direct confrontation of and penance for the Hound’s callous attitude toward human life.  Remember all that blustering about being a butcher and everyone else is meat?  Remember “if you can’t protect yourself, die and get out of the way of those who can?”  Oh boy, is he going to eat those words.  As the gravedigger he must labor for the innocent victims.  He must look them in the face all day long.  They were murdered by Rorge and Biter, two men who represent the Hound totally without conscience and gone fully broken man.  One is wearing the Hound’s helm while raiding the Saltpans for Pete’s sake.  Not only that he must serve food and clear the table for the penitent brothers.  These are people the Hound would have mocked as stupid and weak lesser men.  They believe in the gods, they openly acknowledge their trauma, and have chosen a life of nonviolence.  The villagers and the brothers are the kind of people knights are supposed to protect.  Now Sandor has to STFU, be respectful, and serve them on the humblest level.  Sandor is being rebuilt from the ground up.
So “Sansa may be dead.”  That’s a lot less definitive than his statement about the Hound.  Like the Hound, we’re talking about the life and death of an identity, but which one will die in the end?  Alayne or Sansa?  You are right to notice that she has plenty of Sansa thoughts while being Alayne.  Sansa Stark isn’t dead, but she’s not in the driver’s seat either.  Hence why George might say “there is only Alayne Stone.”  It’s more like she’s dormant or sleeping for the time being.  The question is more like “will Sansa sleep for so long that she never wakes up again?”
Think of the snow castle scene in the Eyrie’s godswood where the statue of Alyssa lays broken in two and half-buried in snow.  That’s a metaphor for where Sansa is in the story.  Split in two with one half gone to ground.  As a “Stone,” she is in danger of eventually petrifying into a cold, stone statue if she abandons all of Sansa’s empathy and idealism and adopts Littlefinger’s cynicism and cold-hearted selfishness instead.  This also has applications to Catelyn turning into LSH. The Alyssa Arryn of legend was cursed by the gods to never know rest until she could openly weep for her dead family.  Specifically, her tears must fall upon the Vale of Arryn below where her loved ones are buried.  The waterfall known as Alyssa’s Tears turns to mist and is blown away by the wind before it can touch the valley floor, which is where the Gates of the Moon is located.  Sansa does weep for her loved ones, but only when she can’t help it and it’s always in private.  She actively tries to suppress thinking of them because it cracks her wide open.  Alayne Stone has no family except Petyr and she must be Alayne all the time.  Its clear though that Sansa’s tears have a direct relationship to her Stark identity.  More on Alyssa’s Tears toward the end.
Before I get into the pitfalls, there is some good to be mined out of Alayne for Sansa’s character growth.  Petyr may have given her the name and the backstory, but Sansa has fleshed out Alayne into the person she wants her to be.  There’s a lot of fake it ‘til you make it going on here.  Alayne is older and more mature.  She’s pretty, but more practical and isn’t given to wearing too fine of gowns and jewels.  She’s had the bastard’s hard knock life, so she’s got grit and determination to not be crushed by the worlds scorn.  Alayne doesn’t take shit from Harry the Heir.  She doesn’t cry in embarrassment or blame herself for his rude behavior.  She doesn’t blush like a pomegranate over everything.  Alayne is clever, more world-wise, and self-confident.  Where Sansa was all cool and proper courtesy, Alayne is warm and engaging.  Can you picture early Sansa impulsively hugging a shabby sellsword like Lothor Brune?  No way.  The very idea would have been appalling.  Most importantly, Alayne looks straight ahead and unflinching at the path that lay before her.
“Coming up, Mya had warned her to keep her eyes on the path ahead, she remembered. “Look up, not down,” she said … but that was not possible on the descent. I could close my eyes. The mule knows the way, he has no need of me. But that seemed more something Sansa would have done, that frightened girl. Alayne was an older woman, and bastard brave.”  – Alayne II, AFFC.
And as long as Sansa can convince Petyr that she has fully embraced Alayne, it lulls him into trusting her enough to let some of his guard down and trust her with more freedom than she had in KL.  By constantly emphasizing their father-daughter relationship, it helps mitigate some of his unwanted sexual advances.
The danger lies in becoming his daughter in her heart, suffocating Sansa out in all but name.  Petyr’s philosophy and skill in dealing with adversity is seductively attractive, leading to conflicting feelings within her.  She isn’t comfortable with how he operates and she’s constantly pushed past her boundaries by him.  Yet “he is so bold. Sansa wished she had his courage.”  She mistakes his fearlessness for courage.
And yet the thought of leaving frightened her almost as much as it frightened Robert. She only hid it better. Her father said there was no shame in being afraid, only in showing your fear. “All men live with fear,” he said. Alayne was not certain she believed that. Nothing frightened Petyr Baelish. He only said that to make me brave. She would need to be brave down below, where the chance of being unmasked was so much greater. Petyr’s friends at court had sent him word that the queen had men out looking for the Imp and Sansa Stark. It will mean my head if I am found, she reminded herself as she descended a flight of icy stone steps. I must be Alayne all the time, inside and out. – Alayne II, AFFC.
Of course this would seem appealing to girl who has been powerless, afraid, abused, manipulated, and wanted for regicide.  Petyr is never afraid.  He’s never the victim or helpless.  No one hurts him.  He deftly handles his enemies before they can strike, leaving them impotent.  He always knows what to do.  Petyr is the magic man that makes everything go his way and he’s going to show Sansa how to do the same.  All she has to do is become as cynical as he and be willing to use other people.  He teaches her the world is divided into players and pawns and you do not want to be a pawn.  Think of how this is reminiscent of Sandor dividing the world into butchers and meat.  Yeah, Sansa is being tempted by the warm, safe blanket of absolute freedom from conscience and all it’s “benefits.”  She might as well be handed the Hound’s helm and put it on herself.  As Lem Lemoncloak says when he explains why he took up the helm:  “the sight of it will make my foes afraid.”  If that happens, all of Sansa’s goodness might truly die along with her Stark identity.  Now I’m confident Sansa will find her back from the brink, but for the story’s sake, the danger and drama has to feel real and present.  As a writer, GRRM has definitely pulled off that feeling as there are many readers who are convinced Sansa has already checked out completely no matter how many of those Sansa thoughts she has. :/
Back to Alyssa’s Tears and bear with me as I go on a tangent.  I’m a subscriber to the theory there will be an avalanche on the Giant’s Lance.  My gut feeling says Alyssa’s Tears will come into play and here’s how those “tears” might finally reach the valley floor in a very appropriate way for Sansa’s arc.  We’ve already established the metaphoric connection between Sansa’s tears, identity, and the statue and legend of Alyssa Arryn.  In winter, the waterfall freezes and becomes 20 foot long icicles pointed straight down toward the Gates of the Moon.  That seems kinda ominous; however, the passage where they are mentioned is interesting.
The snow-clad summit of the Giant’s Lance loomed above her, an immensity of stone and ice that dwarfed the castle perched upon its shoulder. Icicles twenty feet long draped the lip of the precipice where Alyssa’s Tears fell in summer. A falcon soared above the frozen waterfall, blue wings spread wide against the morning sky. Would that I had wings as well.
Like that falcon soaring above the waterfall itself in the glorious light of dawn, I think Sansa will fly away and escape again, just as she did King’s Landing.  Icicles are likened to weapons in the Eyrie and we’ve heard the phrase “tears are a woman’s weapon” often enough.  Lysa used Tears of Lys as a weapon, but Sansa’s tears may be very different.  I think we’re meant to make a connection between those 20 foot icicles and Ned Stark’s longsword Ice, an instrument of justice and her father’s philosophy.  Recall that Ned was beheaded with Ice, likely because Littlefinger influenced Joffrey to change the plan from Ned taking the black.  If one of those bad boys were to crack and crash to the ground, not only could it cause said avalanche that would effectively “behead” the mountain’s peak, but “Alyssa” would finally be set free from her “curse.”  Not that I’m saying Petyr would literally die by getting impaled by an icicle, though that would be nice.  I think it means his time as her father is quickly coming to an end.  Sansa’s tears, her best weapon against Littlefinger’s psychological hold on her, is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.  She needs to be brave, dispel the web of lies that binds her to him, and openly reclaim her identity despite the risk of capture.
Now I don’t think the Alayne persona really needs to die completely so Sansa can live.  It’s possible she synthesizes the two into a newly remade Sansa, one who possesses the best traits of both identities.  Sandor isn’t going to take vows and devote himself to quiet and celibate contemplation.  Stranger is kicking down the stable walls and refuses to become a gelded plow horse.  Some of Sandor’s old ferocity and his moody temperament will still be there, but he’ll definitely be changed by his experience as the gravedigger.  It think it will be the same with Sansa.  She’ll keep Alayne’s courage, strength, brains, and feminine wiles, but Sansa’s core values will guide her choices and actions.
