objectively insane to equate a one night stand that may or may not have happened (but probably did but okay) with a whole emotional affair that spanned years?
#this is what I mean by people who are surprised show Billy is Like That need to read the book again#he was like we were equals in this marriage we both got things we needed from people who weren’t each other at a point#hers being what he suspects is a one night stand with her ex his being what he knows was a whole emotional affair with someone he admitted#to being in love with 😔 yes those have the same weight they’re both human flawed lolz#s speaks#It felt kind of right for Camila to be the one positioning things as ‘we’ve both done things’ in the show though I can see her justifying#his treatment of her to herself that way.#because I think she does a lot of narrativizing there#I think it’s interesting that they are similar in their interest in narrativizing themselves and their relationship while Daisy is so#authentic and unapologetic. even though In general Daisy and Billy are so much more alike than he and Camila that’s an area where it’s#the opposite
