barbie (2023) has genuinely done so much for my confidence its unreal
#lee speaks#barbie#like ofc my anxiety isn’t completely gone#but i went out to see barbie in theaters dressed head to toe in pink#and i was wearing JEWELRY and a SKIRT#i didn’t care when someone called me ma’am after the movie#i felt GOOD about wearing skirts and sparkly heart earrings and a pink outfit#to go see a movie that’s pink and sparkly and girly and fun and transgender#i think the movie also unlocked my inner ken#because today i wore these like. bright blue flare pants with a squiggly green pattern on them#i didn’t feel any sort of anxiety about them i just went out and wore them and felt GOOD about it#two years ago i couldn’t have done this! maybe not even one year ago#idk i just. feel a lot better dressing super femininely with super bright colors and loud patterns
