Aaaand they've changed the search algorithm on this website without warning. Lovely.
#aphelion.txt#tumblr#don't get me wrong the old one annoyed me in some ways too#what this website really needs is a way to specify more parameters of your search#ie timeframes amounts of notes#but that would just be too convenient wouldn't it...#granted i'm far enough along on my cs major#to know how terrifying it would be to write any code that queries a database that size efficiently#but you cant just. switch up a major function of the site with no warning.#thats extremely basic stuff#and the new one is less biased toward new posts#so artists etc will have even more trouble gaining traction#If Ive Somehow Horribly Misread This Situation Feel Free To Inform Me
