@cardonnorton raised down the empty castle to find me and take me to the sunset. I ran with him up to the ridge and up several staircases. Out of breath, he kept telling me how it was the best sunset ever. He was right. Mont St. Michele is unlike anything I’ve experienced. We stayed on the island overnight in an old castle room. The monks stayed in the high Harry Potter like spires of the castle above us. Some say magic isn’t real; it is at Mont St. Michele. How does this trio keep getting better and better. We’ve been to 6 countries I think in the last 2.5 weeks. We just rented a car for 22 days.
