' seeing as she no longer had her father to spar with, it necessitated that byleth find someone else to keep her skills sharp with. despite their prickly attitude, they were one of the best she'd found when it came to swordsmanship, enough so that she could actually work up a sweat the way she had when training with her father. her training sword hung at her side as she moved to the weapon rack to put it away.

This whole trip was supposed to be about experiencing the sage's world and all that it had to offer, yet really all it's been at this point is you sneaking into these strange buildings with magic to steal sweets. If it looks sweet and it sounds sweet... you have taken it. You can't read the strange language on the wrappers, but you certainly can look at the pictures and discern from that on some level if it's sweet looking. You have a very unlikely companion accompanying you as well. Strange groups you all were sorted into for the adventure at hand. Yet, somewhere along the way you lost the other two that were supposed to be with you both... So it just ended up being you and Shylock. It's not as if she was that bad though.

❛ These streets are even louder then the central marketplace. It's annoying. ❜ You begin speaking as you use your teeth to open one of the strange packages you stole. (It's a honey bun). It smells sweet and you take a bite out of it and smile. It is sweet, very sweet. It is rare for you to ever offer your food to another, yet you are in a particularly good mood even if you are complaining about the noise from the strange metal carriages around you. So you shove the snack cake into the others face, looking at her with quite the amused look

❛ Ah-! Er- Um... I can... off ya a tour through the forest if ya want... ❜ Seeing them waiting at the tour guides office made your blood run cold. They are clearly a tourist or visitor. The term "tourist" isn't really a popular on in Samigori. No one is really welcoming of the outsiders even if the town has a rather high tourist industry in the summer for the decent beaches and "small town feel". Outside of the summer months your town fades back into non existence in most peoples heads. Yet, the tour guide office for a forest tour is... dangerous. ❛ The tour guide... they are sick right now, so the office is closed. ❜ That's a lie ❛ So I can show ya through the woods. I'm a hunter so I know my way around real well. It'll be just as good as a tour guide, swear. ❜ sc. @tomoshibi

aki, true to form, hadn't even noticed she'd dropped anything. she takes the item back-- a necklace she'd bought recently-- and slides it back into the pockets of her skirts. "oh! thank you," she says. most people probably would have stolen it, right?

she then stops and squints. "do i know you...? i do, don't i?" it's been a while, so she's struggling to recall from where. she's met so many people in her line of work, after all.

Yet your tone changes the moment that you watch the drink appear, snatching it up quickly as you laugh a bit. Eyeing the concoction with a scrutiny that was unnecessary. Shylock's drinks are always perfect. She's impressive in that manner that one would think her purpose in life was purely to be a bartender. The fact she happened to be a witch purely came second, in your mind. Taking a sip with a hum and then spinning it around a bit.
