speaking of races i missed out from my casey recs post, deeply pissed at myself for not including assen 2007
#here's my free casey stoner rec of the day!! my main excuse for forgetting about it is that it's not a duel casey WINS...#and it's more of a great vale race than a great casey one but like... key one in their rivalry even if casey won the war that season...#top five casey/vale duel one of the two best races that year and i just left it out. like a loser. like an amateur#also valentino has an all time great livery there... im so disappointed in myself. i've watched it so often how did this HAPPEN#i approached it too casually i fear i mostly went from memory and then double checked my notes for the races i'd put down anyway...#with dovi i had to be more thorough because off the top of my head i was like ??? tf did he even do before 2017#which is why that post is more heavily based off my notes and for better or for worse completely escalated in length#anyway go watch assen 2007 it slaps. at some point i'll probably do some follow up recs for casey with all the ones i forgot about#//#brr brr
