Time Lords and humans having essentialy distinct ways of displaying intimacy.

This is just a personal headcanon of mine. But considering one of the fundamental characterizations of Time Lords surrounds intellectuality, psyche, the construction of the mind, etc, it's reasonable to infer that their way of establishing affinity and how they percieve relationships and bonding in general is likely tied to the same principle - as such, physical contact almost not being used as a form of expressing affection, since they value much more the mental aspect and its understanding when related to another person.

Following this sense, forming a psychic/telephatic connection with another Time Lord can possibly be seen in Gallifrey as a much more intimate contact than what kissing is to humans. Or something else.

I found a horrible falling apart Christmas angel at the thrift store.

So I pulled it apart.

And built it a sturdier core out of cardboard to replace that ridiculous plastic cone.

I shaped out the body with bits of cardboard and fabric.

Then made a better outfit from scraps of cotton.

First coat of grey paint, mixed with a bit of water so it saturated and hardened the fabric.

Second coat of paint filled in any spots I missed, gave it some color variation, and added mossy spots.

I like to think the only reason Kate managed to get insurance on a new UNIT hq was thanks to their mysterious new lawyer named Mr 'Estram'- who just a few weeks ago had recieved an earful over the phone from a former Miss Grant, now Mrs Jones, about a recent cyberman invasion (that may or may not have been his fault)

I keep seeing the assumption that Shaun Temple immediately clocked the 14th Doctor as gay, so that's why he wasn't bothered about him and Donna going off together. And I mean yeah, I can see it. But that's putting a lot of trust in your gaydar. Doesn't it make more sense that Shaun knows that his wife of 15 years has a type, and this is very not it? As the 10th Doctor's companion, Donna was consistently attracted to large, solid men, and had zero romantic interest in the skinny frenetic guy. Husbands can pick up on that sort of thing, I think.
