I’ve been looking at my feed on Twitter today, and I don’t even recall following most (if any) of the people on it, but it’s made me realized just how untoxic toxicTumblr is by comparison. : T I did find a decent yard sale on it, though. : o

      So it's come to our attention through news.com.au that a young 17 year old girl made up a fake account of herself who lived a fantasy life.  Whilst escaping into fantasy every now and then is fine, you still have to live in the real world.  What makes this so horrid is that a lot of self harm blogs were telling this 17 year old to take "pictures" of herself self-harming.  She called herself fat, ugly, and never being able to be beautiful and slim.  I then saw pictures of this supposedly "fat, ugly, never be beautiful or slim girl," It broke my heart because she was none of these things.  These self harm blogs kept hounding her to no end to keep posting pics of self harm, her fantasy persona had spiraled out of control and in 2012 she took her life.

   We want you to know here at The NerdyHeard we take everything said seriously. NO-ONE has the right to JUDGE.  We are all humans, we all have feelings even behind the monitors,I feel ashamed at these self harm blogs for deliberately attacking a young vulnerable girl who thought she had no friends in the real world. These blogs should be ashamed of themselves and tumblr should have removed them.  The NerdyHeard will not put up with any of this behaviour and you will see yourself blocked and banned. This family is now left without a daughter, if you see a self harm page please REPORT IT far too many innocent life's has been lost.
