My grievance of today: scheduling care.

Not as in taking care to schedule, but rather the logistics of scheduling things I need to take care of myself.

I have a fulltime 9 to 5 job. So does my therapist, unfortunately. I'm lucky that my job is super flexible but for every appointment I'm away from the laptop for about 2 hours in the middle of a weekday and I hate it. It fucks with my day, my productivity, my agenda, my mood, and it just makes me feel bad.

I am also hypermobile. Most physical therapists also have roughly 9 to 5 working hours. If you're lucky someone might have an evening class. At 17:30. Which isn't much better. So I guess I... don't.

How is someone with a fulltime job supposed to schedule these sorts of things? It just seems impossible to me. The only conclusion is that you don't do it, and suffer until you're forced to scale down at which point your general mental/physical state is much worse.
