Everything You Need To Know About Wheel Spacers
Many people don't know what wheel spacers are or they avoid learning about it altogether. However, it is recommended that you learn about wheel spacers to know everything about cars.
Whether you are a car enthusiast or a person with general curiosity, we have got you covered. Below, we have made a guide covering everything you need to know about wheel spacers.
What are the wheel spacers?
Wheel spacers are used to increase the gap between the wheel itself and the inner wheel well. These devices are placed onto the wheel assembly hub of a vehicle.
From a few millimetres to a few inches, wheel spacers can add extra width to your tracks. Thus, the decision to get wheel spacers is entirely your own. They aren't necessary for your vehicle; instead, they act as an add-on to change driving dynamics.
Types of wheel spacers
There are several types of Nissan wheel spacers; each of them has its advantages and benefits. These are:
Floating  Versus Bolt-On: The floating spacers are placed in between the hub and the wheel of your vehicle as other spacers. However, they make use of the same  factory wheel studs to make sure the wheel is in place. As a result, the wheel extension is minimal, and that's why they are used in vehicles.
On the other hand, Bolt-on spacers are the opposite as they provide a larger wheel extension. As the name suggested, these spacers are bolted on to the hub of your vehicle. Consequently, the wheels have to be bolted on the spacer too. Thus, there is a creation of a new hub.
Lug-Centric vs Hub-Centric: These are the two types of wheel. So, you will have to match your spacers for your type of wheel. On the one hand, hub-centric refers to the wheel bore and axle lining up adequately. On the other hand, lug nuts are used when there is a need to secure the wheel to the mounting plate.
Why you might need wheel spacers
There are several reasons why you might need a wheel spacer. While these devices aren't a necessity for your vehicle, they are used as a correctional device.
Below are some reasons why you might want wheel spacers:
Better handling of the vehicle: As wheel spacers enhance your track width, they improve the overall stability of your vehicle. Thus, the handling of your  vehicle gets better. It is also why wheel spacers are recommended for tractors and SUVs, as there is less chance of your vehicle rolling over with wheel spacers.
Allows component enhancement: When you add car wheel spacers,     components such as brakes and suspension also get better. Thus, you do not only benefit off better stability, but other parts of your vehicle also     get the benefit from wheel enhancers.
Correct component clearance issues: Many times, while getting your brakes and suspension upgraded, many issues can arise later. These issues can be fixed with wheel spacers as well. Any incorrect fitment in your vehicle can be fixed by adding wheel spacers.
Other things to keep in mind
Aside from the things mentioned above, there are some other things you should keep in mind while working with wheel spacers. These are:
Make sure the wheel spacers are fitted properly, as you won't get any benefit from ill-fitted wheel spacers.
It is recommended that you visit a professional to get the wheel spacers     fitted to avoid the above circumstances. Although you can do it yourself,     professionals are advised.
While buying wheel spacers, ensure you buy from a trusted and reputed vendor. So, you get the best quality wheel spacers.

Optimize your Tractor Tires for Better Capacity
Often when it is time to replace the tractor tires, many go for the same exact tires that fit the tractor’s original mount. Often even the same brand and model and same dimensions. But you might be able to improve the performance of your tractor by changing the tyre size to suit your specific requirements.
You can improve your tractor’s capacity considerably by simply replacing the tires with a model that suits perfectly to the actual use of your tractor. How does this help? ·       Increase in your tractor’s load capacity ·       Better soil preservation ·       Improved traction ·       Optimised harvests ·       Reduced fuel consumption
Simply replacing your current tires with larger ones can provide you with a key advantage of carrying a heavier load. The load capacity of your tractor is proportional to the volume of air in the tire. Increasing this volume allows you to make use of heavier and wider machinery. Simply altering the size of the tires can increase the capacity of your tractor by 35% as compared to the original tires. You can also go for dual tires on a tractor. Using dual reduces ground pressure as the weight of the tractor spread over two tyres instead of a single one.
If you are contemplating optimization of your tractor tires for better performance, get in touch with us at Wold Inc and we will guide you. We have a range of accessories such as dual wheel rim clamps for tractor, hubs, spacers, extensions etc. Contact us with your requirements.
