My transitioning stage.
When I first decided to transition and figured out what I was doing I watched a lot of YouTuber’s. My favorite at the time was @naptural85. I followed her for hair tips, transitioning tips, natural routines…she had it all. Her tips really helped me! My main transitioning hairstyle was her quick and easy twist out! I loved it my hair contained a lot of moisture and it always dried quick. At the time I wasn’t familiar with the “pineapple method” so I would re-twist my hair every night! I had a ton of product in my hair and I would co-wash every 2 days. It really doesn’t take much though. I hear people tell me they don’t want to go natural because it’s too expensive, all the products are overpriced and I agree. But it really doesn’t take much my only necessities were raw Shea butter and some type of cheap moisturizer when I started off and that got me to my one year mark and my hair was stronger than ever. The transitioning stage is the toughest but it is worth it when you see all the progress.
Btw I transitioned for 1 and a half years then cut the rest off!
