me working on my thesis today
#adventures in academia!#trying to figure out how green's functions and cross-correlations are related#bc you can cross correlate two different seismic traces to approximate the green's function relating where one station is the source#and the other is the receiver#the problem is green's functions are in the class i audited because the derivations were too advanced (accidentally skipped prereqs)#and the cross correlations are in a completely different class that's kicking my ass#but i think i am so so close to getting it#(watch me be so so far)
