Iridescence

OCs who live here: Ireneo,Bennett,Fia,Hel

A kingdom of not many decades old. It is a rather odd one as it's a home to all insect and insect like humans who feel off from the world with others. Many species of butterfly,moths,and flies beasthumans live here with many other insect types mixed in. Citizens from here call themselves "Iridescenian" instead of their insect type.

Ruler of Iridescence

Queen Thana,The 3 Eyed Butterfly

She has been the Queen for 2 decades now and is mother to Ireneo Khan of Serendipia. Very much a ruler with her own way about things she has 21 daughters yet only 1 son who she has chosen to be heir. Known for her many flings with men as to why so many children and her 3rd eye that lets her see things she hasn't disclosed.

Due to the nature that most insect higher beings are demons then gods/goddesses many of Iridescence's deities are demons that require offerings in exchange from protection,nature balancing,and crop harvesting.

Left - Erin ~ A fly demon minion of Beelzebub,Lord of Flies. She answered the call from Thana who wished to have Lord Beelzebub as a deity but Erin appeared in his place as she has no idea where her lord is. As a show of kindness for her lord Erin offered to help in his stead. Erin is the stand in deity for crop harvesting and controls the bugs around the kingdom's farms from eatting crops and directs them to other places to feed.

Right - Lady Fia ~ An infernal demon from the underworld. She is their Deity of nature balance and ensures the natural cycle is in check so all well around them. Has minions to keep this up for her as she spends time at a magical college watching over Prince Ireneo,Heir to the Iridescence Throne.

Thana is currently working on finding a deity for protection so is grateful Fia has decided on own to protect her son somewhat.

It is very noticeable when there but Iridescence population is mostly all female. Thana knows why and it is a problem that she is working on fixing by having the heir being a male as the last king was the one who established the kingdom many decades ago.

Malaiscester

Full of industrial buildings both old and modern with the technology matching the aesthetics. The castle where the monarchy looks out place as while has some modern touches looks like a gothic castle with lights. It consists of three districts making up the city.

Magic doesn't exist here the same way as it does everywhere else. Malaisleans are usual all magicless and often are modified to be able to simulate they can wield magic technology or undergo dark experiments with magic beings/creatures to create..”special beings”. Long line Malaisleans are known for having an unusual white spot on their forehead that is called a “third eye”. All other citizens are not Long Line if dont have this.

The military is known for being ruthless and causing many wars in the name of the mad kings that have sat on the throne. They thrive on battle even if not directly related to them messing up others relations also satisfies.

Anyone born in Malaiscester to parent(s) who can't afford the tax to raise their child usually ends up in the military camp which houses children to teach them the basics til teens where they learn more skills in different areas of either warfare or stealth and master these by the time they are adults. 

The current king hasn't made a public appearance in years and the prince has vanished but is rumored to be seen on an island known for magical education. Only heavy inspected imports/guests are ever allowed in if not from here. Anyone from here usually has a unique card or tattoo that grants them access back in.

Miseria Islet

3 close islands located beyond the coral sea that are covered by a heavy dark fog and rapid currents.

The Dark Break

A event that happened on the islet where Duane tried to use a powerful necromancy spell to bring back Renata,the late queen but angered her instead resulting in her cursing him and the entire area by stabbing him in the chest with his own sword. A dark mist soon poured out of the hole. People call this the dark break as to those who witness the stab it sounded like something breaking amd then just darkness covered everything.

The mist has negative thought altering powers that when exposed to for a certain amount consume your mind if weak and turns you into a undead creature fitting to those thoughts. Duane has managed to get the mist under control mostly as only one island has it lingering on it and the less he holds onto pain the less seeps out of his chest.

Monarchy

Miseria is ruled by one King who does let his advisors run things as his mind is distracted alot but he ultimately has sole say so on approving everything.

Duane Lovato Bardales is the current king. Unlike most of the born/living citizens after the break by sheer physical will Duane was able to retain part of his humanity so he is half undead.

Citizens

The people of Miseria mostly consist of undead beings namely zombies,wraiths,vampires,ghouls,etc. There is also ghost,banshees and reapers roaming about on Mistfall island only.

Every born citizen up until the dark break were alive and after all turned undead if didn't flee the Islet in time. Most were unable to as not enough boats were available. They retained their mortal minds however. Since most are stuck at their body age when break happened all those who were children at time have been aged to adult forms via magic by order of the king.

Islands

Behind the fog is the islands each with a unique appearance. Only Mistfall is covered in lighter but still heavy fog.

Wisteria Island

Known for the miles upon more miles of Wisteria flowers in white,blue,and violet tones across the land. The ordinary undead citizens that do not wish to dwell in the mist live here in many small villages with a bigger town being the center of the island. They are immune to the toxins of the flowers so don't mind them.

Mistfall Island

The island with the eternally blue flame burning roof castle on top a hill. A mist covers the air that if not strong willed will fill the living with negative thoughts til consumed and turned into a undead being.

There is quite a few who are of the living that been living here too so know they are very unique individuals. While most of the islet's affairs and such are handled here at the castle usually by the king or his advisors the chance of the king being here is rare or scheduled as he doesn't live in the castle anymore.

Renata's Isle

Island that looks practically normal compared to the other two. Theres no mist or single assortment of plants. Only one town here and is where all the citizens and visitors can live together. Various statues carved stone,gemstones,crystal,and gold are scattered around as landmarks.

They are in the graceful form of Renata,the late queen of Miseria in various outfits she once wore to ones Duane has dreamed her in. Following them eventually leads you to her very highly elegant and guarded tomb where theres a plain looking house nearby that is where Duane lives. The house is Renata's home she grew up in. He based everything on the island to her.

Kingdom of Goblet Muse

Home to an ever changing future in a harsh environment.

This city has been around for centuries. Built near the border between another land and Briar Valley. It remains on the Briar Valley side.

History & Issues

The History is entangled with the conflict this city was made to alleviate. The very centuries old war is now just a bitter rivalry of Goblins & Faes. The very land the city rests on was war torn land and holds a lot of good or bad memories with the elder residents. The ground is completely dried of nutrients as punishment faes & other faefolk sapped it all away. Even with these goblins and other Briar Valley folk still live there and rather adept then move on to better place.

City System and Food

Food in Goblet Muse was very hard to come by as none can be grown so all of it is imported from the other land it's near not Briar Valley at all. The Food system works like a food bank. All citizens must register at the main family affair building so how many people are in the city,how many are households,how many children,and how many elderly. Once this is all counted on the 1st of each month large bulk package is delivered to each house of food for the entire month. All residents must have 2 refrigerators,2 freezers,and appliances to make ice if refrigerators don't. There are events to teach new families how to use and preserve their month long rations as they are carefully portioned for their family.

The city works on having a King and 5 council members who are tasked with keeping up different things the city needs. Absolutely no help from the outside they do not want any influence from the Draconias to ever be within the city. The police heavily enforce this by any mention or depictions of them is a crime and will get fined or jailed for it.

There is little room for extra food. There are only two chances for this. The single restaurant in all of Goblet Muse which opens once a month at the end of it and the citizens ball held in the middle of month yet isn't for children as its only place to get alcoholic drinks. While this all sounds awful the citizens have adapted to this controlled food system as surprising as it is freeish and only requires an adult of the household to work a job for the city or a city assigned one to other jobs.

King & Others

Sigurd's entire purpose is to be this symbol of peace as he is of goblin & fae mixed birth. A lot of people both in Goblet Muse and outside find it horrible that the city tried to ease centuries old tension between two species by having an innocent child born who's gone through so much pain & suffering growing up.(More on this will be in Sigurd's backstory post)

The goblin family known as the Farscrew have been the ruling power of the city for a long time. Currently King Sigurd is seen in a split light by his citizens. Most of the system in place was done by his father who recently gave kingship to Sigurd to retire from public life. His son now is faced with being seen as a tyrant or savior.

Education

The city has one school for all children and youths. From age 4 to 18 you can go to this school and are taught very limited subjects because the city puts so much money into the food system the Education one is just a joke. Most times none of the teen youths want to attend and rebel quickly due to how awful it is. Most decide to start working at 14 of age and are on their way to having their own household by 18.

To deal with these issues abit Sigurd has experts of dance,art,and music he convinced to come to Goblet Muse to teach lessons for youths and pays for 10 youths lessons per 3 months to help them obtain or enhance some sort of respectable skill that they can use for future and not just be worker bees.

The Future

Goblet Muse is a far more decent city than it used to be. Alot of the elderly to adults raised by them still hold grudges towards faes but the middle age and younger citizens are more open for change. While only a few people with fae blood mixed in them can call this city home, it's changing. This city cursed with an eternal autumn is going to possibly be different. Maybe if Sigurd reaches out for help..

Homeland of Armonye/Wyvrium Dorm Students

The artisan circle is the name of the alliance of the 7 Kingdoms of the Sinterra region. All kingdoms but Ash & Colden are on good terms yet that hasn't always been the case. Currently a prince from each and noble youths from the kingdoms attend the Royal Sword Academy but that may change as the others may join later.

The Red Wood Kingdom of Ash

First kingdom of Sinterra and main one in the circle. A kingdom built around an active volcano and air very disturbed by its ash in the air. The ash has strange properties that has affected all life around it. Despite the trees being of many varieties they all bear red toned wood. Ores of many types of metals can be found in the walls near the base of the volcano so mine shafts are commonly built to harvest them.

Dragons and lesser winged creatures call the volcano home so are native to the land. They have become the symbol of the kingdom as most are called "Ash Dragons" as they were born covered in the ash from the volcano. They bear blood red eyes with small pupils and are the friendliest. It's common to see them being used as military mounts,work helpers,and pets.

Rarely some of the humans of the kingdom are born with the same eyes as the Ash Dragons. "Ash Touched" is what they are called. They are prone to aggression often. Fire magic is natural to them and they are immune to any damage by fire or heat. Dragons are likely to befriend these people quicker and they are known to make sounds like dragons when grunting,etc. A body sense seems to be absent in them as well as often being born blind,deaf,etc. They tend to live shorter lives as randomly have a chance to spontaneous combust the older they are though some that were young did so. It is said when this happens they are reborn as a dragon. Ash Touched individuals are seen as a land treasure and often kept together under the royal family's care. Two of the three princes were born as Ash Touched.

The People: Often stubborn and well built as used to extreme heats and work with fire constantly.

I mentioned this school in Josephine's profile so thought to expand on it abit more. This won't be a full on fanschool it's just a place for magical children ocs of my adults to be at to help establish friendships and such. Your free to add it to your small ocs if want to give em a school.

Shroomside: Magic Elementary

Located In the country grasslands in the outskirts of the city of Shroomside. The school is all within an actual castle rebuilt as a school. The home of Josephine Goni which is a mini castle is not too far away as well as vast open space and a lake so students really feel like they have been whisked to a royal land.

Staff List

Students are teleported from wherever they live to the school via magical green pipes sent to their parents,guardians,etc and vice versa to go home so there's no need for them to relocate to the city.

This school purpose is to teach very young children whose magic has appeared early so they have a better understanding of it,not afraid of it,and for more magical safety.

The basics of magic in a style children find appealing is taught here. Also often children have a certain kind of magic they can do that's not the basics so they are grouped with others with similar magics and taught how to control and when it's ok to use it or not to.

Children love stories of princesses,princes,queens and kings! At Shroomside students are called little royal titles while the staff are different members of a royal court. Students have pin small crystals on bows that show what royal title they are and uniform colors show grade. Image shows this in detail. Crystals are for standard stuff but Josephine added a 3rd for students who either not want to be a prince/princess,have no idea which to pick yet,or dislike the other two colors. To see where the crystal goes see Drogo's sprites which have it on bow.

The Principal,Josephine Goni is titled as Beauty Queen and is the only queen titled at school. Students adore her cause she has stated she is like their other mother of magic. She understands these kids are abit wild and scared of what they can already do so she strives to have her staff be patient and listen to the children as it better helps them for future education.
