location: take it outdoors boat and kayak race
character: @tysingh & ingrid.
As Monday dawned and the city buzzed with the remnants of the weekend's festivities, Ingrid found herself drawn to the allure of the boat and kayak race at Summit Lake, hosted by Take It Outdoors. The prospect of spending a day under the sun, watching the participants navigate the waters, was enticing, even if she had no intention of participating herself. As she strolled towards the lake, Ingrid spotted a familiar face among the crowd and waved at her. "Hey.. Are you going to participate in the race or just watch?" she questioned, thinking that if anyone could pull it off.. that was Tyler.

To say that the weed brownies had affected CJ was a bit of an understatement. He felt completely chilled, soupy from what he congested, as if time was moving both sluggishly slow and too fast. There had been a pain in his boot he had noticed from earlier, sitting down, making too much of a drama with wiggling out the offending item that was causing him discomfort. Pulling out a tent peg, he turned to the person closest to him. “I think…this is from my tent. I hope Jeanie isn’t in there already, in case it’s fell down on her.”

location: good pets
character: @tysingh & maya.
Maya wandered through the aisles of the pet store, browsing the shelves for something to help keep her furry friend comfortable during their rainy walks. As she turned the corner, she caught sight of the familiar face of Tyler, a regular at the store. With a friendly smile, Maya approached her, their shared love for animals forging a connection between them. "Hey Tyler," she greeted, "how's it going? Say, I've been thinking about getting some dog boots for my troublemaker. With all the rain lately, her paws have been getting soaked. Do you have any recommendations or do you think it's straight-up stupid?"

It wasn't often that Mallory made a mistake. In fact, even this situation wasn't her fault; and when this damned incompetent assistant was no longer in charge of Mallory's calendar come the new year, she'd probably throw a party. But wishing for the stupid secretary to be out of her life wasn't going to solve the pressing matter, arms crossed in fury as she was expected to take some oaf donned in green fur.
"Who do I speak with to get some sort of compensation for this? I do not feel comfortable with the Grinch of all things telling me to get into Downward Dog position." She sniped to the woman next to her in the back, looking even more infuriated than the CEO did, if that was even possible.

— characters: hana & tyler — setting: the after wedding brunch at amelie's — partner: @tysingh
Even though Hana had stood at the altar in support of Verda as her best lady, she knew enough of the situation to understand that none of the event could have been easy for Ty. They were friends and the former model felt guilty that she'd never dug into what this had all meant for the fighter.
It had actually come as a surprise to Hana when Verda had vented that Emmy and Tyler had slept together, but it made her aware of just how much more complicated and convoluted the whole mess was between the three women.
"Hey," there were two drinks in had when she'd approached her friend and gently nudged her, "how're you doing?" The cocktail was offered to Ty and Hana fully intended to get intoxicated because this wedding only served as a remind of how forever alone she was.
"If it's any consolation— you looked stunning up there."

The baker busied herself with a wet rag and the countertop that had a few crumbs lining the top of it. She feared if she attempted to read the other's features, she'd find something within the woman's gaze that she didn't like. "I think I'll do that. It'll give him and Emmy and a break." She gave a half smile, wondering if her wife's aversion to dogs was limited to Zeppelin or if Ty's four legged companions faced the same kind of avoidance at all cost. "Do you ever do anything with them? With the service stuff?" She'd heard of people taking their dogs into nursing homes and hospitals, but she didn't know if Ty was the type. Scratch that, she assumed she wasn't. "I tried the training classing with Zepp. He did fine, but he always wanted to play more than he wanted to learn."
@tysingh
Ty had to immediately bite her tongue from popping off and pointing out that there was no way Ver was that handy. Any chance at a petty, negative remark was one that her instinct wanted to jump on. For now, at least, she was succeeding in holding it back. "Worth looking into. And it's kind of cool that they can have their own space or whatever. These guys end up out there a lot." Ty would pretty much cave and do anything for her dogs, whatever the cost. Giving a bit of a nod, Ty leaned over against the counter to wait, watching vaguely as Ver grabbed the jam and a knife. She pulled it over towards her to start decorating her food with the stuff, waving off Ver's offer. "Nah, they'll be good. They've all been through training to be service dogs, so they can behave if I ask them to. Don't really ever have to worry about them." Ty usually let the dogs err more on the side of pets, even if they'd been through the rigors of training as service animals and then some.

character: Ty Singh @tysingh
location: Amelie's
It had been sometime now since she'd gotten a chance to see Emmy. Lorelai knew it had been at least before the start of the new year, so she figured she would stop in to try and see if she was at the restaurant, knowing just how busy owning a place could be. But as she walked through the doors, she noticed another familiar face and decided she needed a follow up from their last conversation. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to find you here, considering I was only useful for a poor jealousy tactic. I'm relieved to see you still haven't attempted to try to raid my home, but I do find myself curious if you did raid the peppy poinsettia agent woman's home."

location: one note stand
status: closed ( @tysingh )
Nerves weren't usually Jeanie's thing when it came to most things. Bungie jumping? Sure, who wouldn't get a little nervous? Opening day of the café? Okay fine, but life changing events and hurling herself off cliffs aside, she preferred to throw herself into most things with as much enthusiasm as possible, including dates. Tonight appeared to be the exception though and she was blaming that entirely on Emmy.
See, usually she knew the name of her date and maybe even a few things about them other than 'she's the crotchety type', but for this one she was going in blind. As she walked into One Note Stand she couldn't help feeling a little daunted by the unknown. She was supposed to be looking for a woman in dark clothes who likely 'looked miserable' (but Emmy had assured her she wasn't actually), but that was easier said than done when it was this busy and she was just consider phoning it in when somebody caught her eye. All nerves disappeared once, replaced with amusement as she bounded over to the woman hunched over at the bar. "I've gotta be hallucinating," Jeanie greeted Ty cheerfully, sliding into the seat next to her, the goal of locating her date momentarily forgotten in her glee. "There's no way in hell you're hanging out in a karaoke bar. Oh my God, are you a regular? Do you have a song? Is it Bodies by Drowning Pool?"

Upstairs was eerily silent, with Nathan still away from office and Freddie downstairs with his guys doing God-knows-what. She knew better than to ask questions, even if she would be directing those towards the man she practically lived with. And if they were busy, it meant none of them came upstairs to pester her, leaving her in enough peace and quiet to finish all her work relatively early. With a few more hours of work to go, she grabbed the wireless phone and headed downstairs, figuring she could be more useful at the bar. She was making her way there when she saw someone in the hallway looking somewhat disoriented. "Hi," she said, approaching the other with a smile. "Can I help you with something?"

What had surprised her the most was the simple fact that Emmy had talked her best friend into agreeing to a civilized dinner under the same roof. She sipped at a glass of her favorite white wine as she watched the other move from pot to pot with a great sense of ambition. Her mouth twitched upwards at the corner, a crooked grin and raised brow directed at the chef who'd volunteered to prep the whole meal. The baker parted her lips with the intention of dropping a creative name for the missing woman in question, but the doorbell cut her off. With one long drink, she emptied the contents within her glass and pushed off the bar stool that sat on the other side of the island from where Emmy had been working.
The kiss to her cheek did little to extinguish the worry of where the night would go. If they were lucky, neither she or Ty would end up storming out. "Fine. Do we have any garlic I can shove in my pocket? Just to be safe?" She exhaled rather dramatically before she sat off towards the front door, her dress flowing against her thighs. She'd considered something less formal for the friendly dinner, but going over the top was a favorite past time of hers. Slowly, she tugged open the door, keeping the best smile she could muster as her gaze fell upon the other. "You may enter," she hummed with a wicked grin before stepping aside to allow Ty to do just that. "Sorry, I don't the formal rules of inviting evil, but that should do it. Emmy's setting the table. You want something to drink?"

— verda durmaz & ty singh verda's home, claret park.
The steam rose out of the pan she had cooking on the stove a little too quickly, alerting the fire alarm in the kitchen before she even had a chance to do anything about it. The loud beeping of the alarm was enough to drive her insane — if the thought of dinner with two people who, for some reason, considered themselves mortal enemies hadn't already driven her to insanity. Groaning, she plucked the pan off of the stove and chucked it into the sink, giving up on the sauce she was prepping in favor of just serving everything that was already finished, which was already more than enough food for the three of them. Part of her wished she would have invited Jeanie along, if for nothing else than to get some type of amusement from what would inevitably be her downfall. Instead, she risked spending the night alone with her best friend and her wife, the stress of which already had her craving the brand new cigarette pack now residing in her jacket pocket hanging by the entryway. Fanning the space near the alarm with an oven mitt, Emmy was thankful when it shut off and she was able to hear her own thoughts again, offering Verda a grateful smile when she caught the other's presence in the kitchen. "Everything's finished. I think. It just needs..." She trailed off, the doorbell ringing catching her attention. "Speak of the devil." Her heart thrummed wildly against her chest as she pressed a soft kiss to Ver's cheek as she passed by. "I'll set the table if you can get the door? She might need permission to cross your doorway," Emmy couldn't help but joke nervously, her fingers giving the other's arm a gentle squeeze before she turned her attention back to loading her arms with as many dishes as she could carry and moving them to the dining table.

— SETTING: the open range ; afternoon — AVAILABILITY: closed starter for TYLER SINGH | ( @tysingh )
After being away for a couple of weeks, Emira was definitely the one she had missed the most — as she had kept in touch with both Parker and Jesse throughout her time away — so, upon being back and even though it was still freezing cold outside, since her baby girl liked the cold weather so much, Aysel decided to take her to the dog park and spend some time there before she had to head into work.
She was rubbing Emira's ears after bringing back the ball she'd thrown when she noticed a familiar face, accompanied by four dog friends. Since she didn't know much about Tyler, most of the information being shared between the two having been between the sheets, it was a nice surprise to see she too shared a love for pets.
"Why, hello there, gorgeous." She smirked, before pushing herself up again, then throwing the ball so that Emira could catch. "Who are these lovelies?"

— SETTING: peak fitness ; morning — AVAILABILITY: closed starter for TYLER SINGH | ( @tysingh )
Dean had just finished his series when he noticed her by the weights. He could've sworn he'd seen the woman somewhere, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it just yet. But, there he was, staring, which... soon was picked up by the woman and of course it made Dean feel like shit because his mother had taught him better. "Shit. Sorry, I uh... I didn't mean to stare. I know I did, but like... you have like... my dream body." Ugh, shit. He was being weird again. And chances were, this woman was going to kick his ass and laugh about it. "Respectfully! Respectfully, of course!"

→ fremont street, downtown las vegas, nevada. closed for @tysingh
CJ had hit up Vegas a couple of times, though they were both when he was 21, and definitely much worse than he was now. So it was nice to take the opportunity to wander around, drinking cocktails in the novelty cups as he drank in the bright lights around them. He was hanging with Ty, Seb promising to meet them later on, off to do whatever Seb did (CJ was guessing he was procuring ‘party favors’ to celebrate the fight and stuff) so the lifeguard decided to take his new friend out for dinner, remembering a recommendation for a burger place.
“This place is supposed to be sick, like the burgers are humongous, and it’s like a hospital and if you don’t finish your food you get spanked by hot nurses!” He explained as they trudged up downton Vegas, under the LED canopy covering the street, though it did not give much relief to the heat, much warmer compared to the Colorado weather they were used to. “And it’s supposed to be like, fucking delicious, dude!”

Characters: Elliot Chapman & Tyler Singh (@tysingh) Location: Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony Closed Starter
With Ava re-elected mayor and Elliot now being established as Thea's partner, there was no way he could avoid being here for the tree lighting ceremony. He wasn't exactly eager to stand with his future mother-in-law and cut ribbons but he'd do it for Thea if she asked him to. He just opted to take the opportunity to walk around and get himself a warm drink before he had to do that. He was heading towards a mulled wine stall when he noticed Ty. "Look who it is! I haven't seen you in ages."

"I'm not sure if you're someone that likes apricots, but my aunt has always been really into baking. I remember as a kid we'd come out here and she'd get a large popcorn with extra butter and a sprinkle of sea salt and then we'd grab a bucket and pick apricots until they were falling out the top." she smiled. "She prefers them in a pie, but I prefer them in preserves or jams, so, you can bet I'll be getting the biggest and juiciest apricots and taking them back to the tea shop, and I'll be selling them there so if you're interested, come on after this week."

— characters: hana & tyler — setting: lunch together at tequila little time — partner: @tysingh
"No, no, shush. Stop laughing!" It was actually a challenge for the former model to stifle her own giggles but since she was seriously considering taking the plunge she was trying to be optimistic. "Look at his profile. He's really cute! It shouldn't matter that he lives with his grandma." Hana turned her phone back to her for a moment and glanced at the screen to reread a few details, then faced it back to Ty. "Or that he has four cats and studied political science. He has a nice face!" Which wasn't supposed to be the most important factor, but she hadn't had the best of luck dating. Mostly all her fault. It was fun to scroll through the app and judge people, however. "It even says that he has a smackable ass and you know I love a good booty tap."
