So.. today, I told the girl beside me in work that I liked Chad. She used to sit beside him before she got moved beside me and they got really close. (She came up with the nickname Chad)

I was talking to a friend last night about how I wanna tell the girl beside me all about my crush and she was like, I should do it. Then all morning, I really wanted to tell her but I couldn't find the time.

So what happened was, I was on my break in the canteen, I was sitting facing a wall and suddenly someone comes up behind me and it was her, she was making coffee. There was NO ONE in the canteen at this time so I was like:

Me: Hey, I want to tell you something. I need advice on something.

Seatmate: Sure, what's up?

Me: Can we talk somewhere private?

S: We can go outside the revolving doors.

*we did*

Me: Idk how to tell you this but... I like someone in work.

S: *her eyes lit up* Oooh who??

Me: Chad

S: Who?

Me: *Chad's real name*

S: Oh!!! Omg, he's adorable!

Me: But I'm finding it awkward cos we don't have that much interaction you know. Like you know I was really shocked when I got him for Kris Kindle. Do you think he has a hint that I like him with the gift I gave him?

S: Not sure, cause you know everyone was doing it at the same time so it didn't look obvious. Also, he told me he is an introvert so I don't know if something will click in his mind.

Me: Omg he's an introvert?? I'm an introvert too. But like, surely, he's thought about it no??

S: You need to make more efforts! And dress nicer, too! You need to do things on your end. Have you added him on FB yet?

Me: No, because it's awkward!

S: WHY?? We're on the same team!!

Me: I know but I never get to talk to him!

S: Okay, so what you need to do, you should go over there once in a while, to say hello or bring sweets, CHAD WILL SMELL IT AND DEVOUR THAT. And instead of going to *this female SME*, you should go to *male SME assigned to our team* and ask him questions, he sits in front of him so you can say hi at the same time. Or go to the guy beside him, he's really good at global structures and all so ask him, then you can get an excuse to talk to Chad.

Me: I'll try. But I'm just really shy.

S: He also really likes spicy food too! I gave him the Korean spicy noodles but I don't think he's tried it yet, I think he's scared! You should go up to him and say "I heard S gave you Korean Spicy Noodles. How is it? I'm thinking of getting one."

Me: Lol oooh he likes spicy food too.

S: You need to get out of your comfort zone!

Me: I know!

Then we went back to our desk, and she goes: Now, we have an action plan, you just need to do something on your part.

Then I bring up the gift again, I told her how he told me he finished the hot chocolate I gave him. Then she told me there was this one day he wore the shirt I gave him and they were all complimenting him on it and she saw that he was making the hot chocolate too. I told her that he needs to wear the shirt again so I can be like "Nice shirt." Then she was like, IT'S CHAD HE ALWAYS WEAR A HOODIE. Then she's like: he is so white! He goes to Starbucks for hot chocolates and Frappuccinos. I was just laughing 😂

Then I told her imagine we get to sit beside each other in the new seating arrangement and she was like 'that will be so cute!!'

I told my little sistar about this and she was like "SEE!!! IT'S YOUR TIME TO SHINE! TAKE CHARGE NA BESHY!" 'IF GOD CANNOT USE ME TO HELP YOU, HE WILL USE SOMEONE ELSE TO ENCOURAGE YOU."

Then later on, at around 4pm, Chad comes over to our area to talk to S because S was filling out the Wellness Week thing in work where we can either get free stuff or vouchers. Chad said he got the Fitbit voucher but he doesn't intend on using it, he's just gonna give it to his fam (aw). Then he was like, he thought they were gonna come in with boxes of Fitbit to distribute to the office. Then I butt into their convo and said: "No, you get a voucher code to buy the Fitbit." Then Chad was like "Where do you enter it?" I said, "they'll give you a website and you can enter it there."

Then S offered Chad my snacks from the Philippines.

S: Have you tried these yet? *Gives Chad an Ube polvoron* they're fresh from the Philippines.

Me: Yes, please try these

Chad: What is this?

S: The texture is really weird

Me: so that's purple yam, it's basically like sweet potato.

Chad: Wait a potato?

Me: No! Sweet potato!

Chad: Okay I'll eat this.

S: *to Chad* You forgot to bring me back Twinkies!

Me: I hate Twinkies! You can really taste the chemicals in it.

Chad: Same!! It tastes like bleach!

Me: It's like every American snacks

Chad: Oh Americansss. It's so full of chemicals that it can literally lasts forever.

Me: I thought I was gonna like it when I first had it but nope!

Chad: You would think it would taste like a donut but it doesn't.

*Comes out to get water and eat the polvorone. Came back after 5 mins*

Chad: I liked it. But why is it purple?

Me: It's purple yam.

Chad: Shouldn't it be grape flavour then?

Me: Not really. That is the most ""exotic"" flavour I have here.

S: What did you think of the texture? It's like you have a cookie and you crumble it and put it back together

Chad: You know what it's like? It's like crumbs at the bottom of the cookie package.

Then... I can't remember what else we had talked about. 😩😩😩

But like seriously guys !! All the time we were talking, he had a big smile on his face, I couldn't even look him straight in the eye kasi natutunaw ako 😩😩😩😩😂😂😂😂 Grabe nanaman kilig ko. CHAD NAMAN KASI I LIKE YOU ASK ME OUT DIN PAG MAY TIME.

The fact that he's an introvert maybe torpe xa 😂 Feeling ko ako tlga mag aask out sakanya. Pero like, kung pareho kaming introvert, mag hihintayan kaming dalawa kung sino mag aask out. Kakalurks 😂

I am really happy to have trusted S with this secret and grateful that there is another person in work who supports me. Hopefully she can include me in more of their conversations. Hihihihihihi
