The finished Xaturna sculpt. I set out to create a #fivepointfive female figure that fit in with the Galaxxor aesthetic. I certainly wanted her to have a heroic and idealized feminine form, but wanted to balance any overt sexiness with alien weirdness and a more minimalist design approach. I also forwent the more Barbie-esque stance of a Teela-type figure and gave her the more traditional “battle ready” posture that the male figures of the genre universally have. She’s heading off to @underworldcustoms for a bright future in resin.
