After a marathon of bargaining over the course of more than 24 consecutive hours this week Canada’s largest public sector union Unifor reached a tentative deal with Ford Motor Company. The new deal will cover more than 5,600 workers at Ford’s Canadian facilities in Ontario and Alberta. “What a time to fight for working people right now,” said Unifor President Lana Payne in a press conference on Tuesday announcing the deal. “And for unions, you’ve just got to stick at it right now and take advantage of the moment that we’re in and try to make sure that we’re making generational gains for workers because that is what collective bargaining can do. It can change lives; and we believe we will change some lives with this agreement.”

TAG: Minha Faculdade - Engenharia de Telecomunicações (atualizada)

Durante o período de 2011 a 2016 eu fiz o curso Técnico Integrado em Telecomunicações no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará (IFCE). Em paralelo eu também fiz o curso de Design Gráfico na Gracom que é uma escolas de efeitos visuais. E ao mesmo tempo também comecei a escrever o meu primeiro blog.

Em 2018 eu já havia começado a faculdade e vi essa TAG no blog Coruja Geek, e respondi em vídeo no meu canal do YouTube. Agora, quase um anos depois da minha formatura na faculdade resolvi atualizar as respostas em formato de texto.

Vamos às perguntas:

Qual seu curso de graduação? Engenharia de Telecomunicações. Caso tenha interesse em mais informações sobre o curso vou deixar o link do site do IFCE e da UFC, mas as faculdades em Fortaleza/CE para que possa comparar.

Quantos períodos ele tem? E em qual você esta? Tem 10 períodos, ou seja são 5 anos de curso no mínimo. Caso você se dedique a outras atividades em paralelo com a faculdade pode estender esse tempo.

Porque você escolheu esse curso? Eu tinha algumas opções em mente antes de escolher: "Biblioteconomia", "Sistemas e Mídias Digitais" e "Engenharia de Telecomunicações". Depois de listar e pesar os prós e contras, de todas as opções que eu gostaria de fazer eu optei por fazer Engenharia de Telecomunicações no IFCE.

Antes de escolher esse curso você pesquisou sobre o mercado de trabalho e o piso salarial? Não pesquisei. Eu já estava concluindo o Curso Técnico em Telecomunicações que era integrado ao Ensino Médio. Pareceu uma boa ideia, continuar na minha área de formação.

Como foi seu primeiro dia de aula? Tem dicas para os calouros O meu curso começou uma semana antes da data prevista por conta de uma evento chamado Semana de Pré-Engenharia organizado pelos alunos do CAET - Centro Acadêmico de Engenharia de Telecomunicações. Foi um evento dedicado para fazer o nivelamento dos alunos, tivemos aulas de matemática e física e programação. E ao final da semana teve uma gincana de casa ao tesouro.

Sobre seu TCC, já começou a fazer? Qual tema pretende abordar? Meu TCC foi na área de projetos de rede de fibra óptica.

Você se considera uma boa aluna? Sim. E sempre tentando concilie estudos e trabalho simultaneamente.

Você está 100% satisfeita com o curso que escolheu? Sim. Como eu já tinha feito o curso técnico na mesma área eu já sabia o que esperar da engenharia.

O seu curso tem algum material especifico que não tem em outros cursos? Acho que o item mais específico é importante é a a calculadora científica. Eu usei a Cássio.

Na sua faculdade teve trote? Se sim como foi? O trote foi substituído pela semana de Pré-Engenharia.

Seu curso tem muita matemática? Demais. Importante lembrar que a matemática e física do ensino médio é muito diferente da matemática e física vista na engenharia.

Geralmente nas faculdades existem o "ciclo natural de desistência" a turma começa com 70 alunos e permanecem só 20. Isso aconteceu na sua faculdade? Sim. No entanto, muitos de nós optou por estudar e trabalhar ao mesmo tempo e os que sobreviveram se formaram em semestres diferentes em turmas misturadas.

Quais dicas você daria para quem está querendo começar a fazer o mesmo curso que você? A minha dica não só pra alunos de engenharia, mas para qualquer curso se dedique e aproveite as oportunidades extracurriculares, cursos complementares, palestras, cursos de idiomas, estágios não remunerados. Todas essas experiências são validas e ajudam a entender melhorar em qual área seguir (principalmente se faz engenharia, já que tem muitas vertentes de trabalho).

Já ficou em DP? Possui algum método diferente de estudo? Ainda não sei exatamente o que significa DP. Eu conheço o termo AF, que significa avaliação final, ou seja se não ter a média suficiente para passar é possível fazer uma prova com toda a matéria do semestre. Sim. Já fiquei de AF, em matemática, física e alguma ou outra matéria técnica. O método de estudo é revisar todo o conteúdo, não tem pra onde fugir. Melhor evitar se possível.

Faça um resumo básico do seu curso pra quem estiver interessado em fazê-lo. Nesse curso é possível trabalhar na área de eletrônica, robótica, programação, telefônica móvel, fibra óptica, transmissão satélite, transmissão de sinal de rádio, transmissão de sinal de tv, gerenciamento de redes de computadores, internet das coisas e muito mais. im pretty sure when steve hillenberg said spongebob was asexual he probably wasn't aware of the term as a personal identifying label but that was The most elegant way someone could have handled "conservative parents think your children's cartoon character is endorsing a homosexual lifestyle" in the 2000s without alienating the gay people who'd already adopted him as a community symbol because of it

like, what a concise way to say "this character's sexual preferences were never a topic of consideration for me and it's weird that you think they were." it's not a focus of the show, but characters ARE depicted in romantic relationships in an age-appropriate way for its demographic, so i think it's notable that he only addresses the topic of sex (instead of saying something insane like "hal was a straight computer.")

he correctly identified that their rhetoric centered on sneakily conflating "gayness" with "sexual deviance" and only shut down the accusation that he was showing kids inappropriate sexual content without even justifying the part-and-parcel "a gay relationship in a kids' cartoon that's depicted exactly the same as a straight one is still intrinsically sexual" with a response

The strike by the United Auto Workers union isn’t the only labor problem that automakers, and US car buyers, need to worry about. Unifor, the union that represents autoworkers in Canada, is preparing to go on strike against Ford on Monday night. Ford isn’t speaking about how it sees the contract negotiations going but Unifor President Lana Payne told CNN on Saturday that the two sides are far apart, especially on financial issues, saying the union has rejected the first two offers from Ford. “We’re not close at all. There’s a lot of work to get done to get an agreement by midnight Monday,” Payne said. Unlike the UAW, which has spelled out its initial bargaining demands, including a 40% pay raises over the life of the contract, neither Unifor nor Ford are saying where they stand on wage increase offers, but the union is looking for substantial wage hikes, pension improvements, as well as job security guarantees as the auto industry invests billions in its plans to switch from traditional gasoline powered cars to EVs in the years ahead – all issues at the center of negotiations between the UAW and the automakers it is striking.

i love comparing yoko, kamina and kittan's designs because the rgb colour palette is really pleasing to the eye but my favourite part of it is each of them only have 2 colours. yoko has yellow eyes and kittan has yellow hair, kamina has red eyes and yoko has red hair, kittan has blue eyes and kamina has blue hair - BUT kamina and yoko both have outfits that are prodominatly red whilst the secondary black is only shared between yoko and kittan. idk where im going with this, but its really Good

according to s3 lore, luke either hasnt been born yet or is still very new at this point in time. and towards the end of s1 simeon mentions that he wasnt allowed to visit the devildom for a long time after the celestial war ended. so for those two to be in nightbringer at all, there has to be something weird going on with the timeline. in addition to that, diavolo and barbatos's 3d models are wearing the rad uniform despite rad supposedly not existing yet. ive seen people joke about "why is the ddd new and improved if we're going into the past" but i feel like its definitely a tool we're going to be given ahead of time to help us complete whatever mission we're sent into the past for to begin with (whether we remember what that mission is upon arriving there or not)

for simeon to be in his human world outfit instead of his angel one, it implies that hes still living in the human world because he is still post-ring-stealing. which means luke is probably back in the celestial realm and probably paired with raphael now. its really sad to think those two might be living separately from each other when luke mentioned (in s4?) that he views simeon as a big brother😔
