Pour one out for Jin Guangyao at the Sunshot Victory Banquet, as he spends the evening flanked by his ex-boss whom he is continually divorcing, his painfully awkward half-brother who thinks bananas cost $10, and Sect Leader Yao. This is the only formal event JGY attends that he isn't in charge of planning, but at what cost?

#on a more serious note: this arrangement also makes it crystal clear that JGS never really thought NMJ would sit in/beneath WRH's throne #unless he really did somehow rearrange EVERY SINGLE SEAT (doubtful! esp. with JGY not in charge of it lol)#NMJ is sitting between JGY and LXC with NHS behind him which makes perfect sense for NMJ but zero sense as the original spot for JGS
