I keep seeing posts about Taylor feuding with that fictional vampire guy so I looked up the backstory about it and it solved a personal mystery I’ve wondered about for years omg
#when I was a kid my mom would bring me to the Louisiana Book Festival sometimes#and she would get me books by the authors who would be there to read in advance#and one year she got me some books about vampires#and I read some of them#but then it turned out the author couldn’t make it to the festival anymore#so I focused on other books by authors who would be there and planned to get back to the vampire books later#but then time passed and life got in the way#and then eventually years had passed and I was left with vague memories of the vampire books I really enjoyed#but I could no longer recall any defining details about them#and I tried to look them up a few times over the years but I could only remember vague snippets of vampires and it being set in Louisiana#it turns out there are lots of Louisiana vampire novels#and so I just accepted that the vampire books I read would remain a mystery#until today when I kept seeing posts about Taylor feuding with a vampire#and when I looked it up I realized the vampire story shared details with the books I read#that’s definitely it#I can’t believe the mystery is finally solved#maybe I need to reread them#I know I’ve heard of the author isn’t she the one that had issues with fanfiction?#anyway if you read all of this I’m so sorry I hope you enjoyed my story time
