what is ranmail?

this just aged me about 12 years /j

ranmail is a couple channels in ranboo's official discord server! it's accessible for subs only, and ranboo used to post a lot of updates and silly messages there. fun fact, the very very first concept of generation loss was originally posted in ranmail!

Hey, do you know what happened with the vods channel? It's really far behind and missing a bunch of vods. Is that channel still being actively supported?

the vods channel got a bit abandoned sadly, but ranboo is working on getting it back up ! a lot of the new streams are getting uploaded now so hopefully (!!) soon it will go back to its normal state of an archive :)

thanks for the translation of the text! has anyone figured out the 1:1 for each letter of the cipher to alphabet yet?

sorry if I worded that badly it's like 5am and I'm autisming over genloss too hard to sleep

okay so. I'm like. a relatively New starkid/hatchetfield fan in the grand scheme of things!! so I might not have everything u need to know!!! but. the guy who didn't like musicals is a musical from Starkid Productions, performed live then uploaded on youtube in 2018 :D it's one of the 3 (not including nightmare time) musicals that take place in the hatchetfield cinematic universe!!! tgwdlm was the first made, then black friday, then I Think nightmare time came after, then nerdy prudes must die as the most recent! the basic premise is that there r these higher beings of some sort that embody different kinds of chaos/mischief, and they like to mess with the town of hatchetfield. each musical takes place in the same town with the same people, but it's a sortve different timeline/universe? like the stuff that happens in tgwdlm never happened in npmd, where smth Different happens. if you like sci fi horror n silly musicaks with good comedy n songs I absolutely recommend u go watch the 3 of them as well as nightmare time!!!!! IT'S SO GOOD PELLALDEEEEEE

why is ran's one year going back every year? I feel like in 2020 it was September 12th, then 2021-2022 it was September 11th and then last year and this year its September 10th?

they actually have always celebrated on the 10th and i have receipts !

(1st stream vs. 1st, 2nd and 3rd anniversary)

the story they always tell is that they actually posted their first tiktok on sept 10th, but their first stream was on the 11th. so thus, they celebrate the start of "content creation" not streaming! bc obviously celebrating on 9/11 is a little 😬
